first impressions

Pros: Just the overall experience was just very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms kept their temperatures
Cons: Not really sure if this could be done but the outside noise creeps into the rooms. Also, maybe the parking.
Location: The location for this particular hotel was a bit of a inconvenience but the access to the hwy was good. Once we got our bearings we were good
This was my first time with this hotel chain and they were very impressive. The staff that greeted us was friendly and accommodating. Though it was a bit of a distance from where we needed to be and all the others were booked, the comfort and friendliness of the staff did a very good job of filling the gap.

Hotel is old, outdated, and dingy.

Pros: Location was nice.
Cons: Update and freshen up the hotel.
I expected a nicer hotel. I didn't have any issues with the staff. This hotel is in need of a remodel. The bed was lumpy, furniture old and out dated.

Pros: The Hotel had a lounge that served food I arrived late and did not want to find a restaurant.
Cons: The Iron did not work nor the coffee maker I just thought about it they were plugged in to the same outlet. So possibly it was the outlet did not work either way they need to to upgrade and maintain the hotel it was awful.

Hotel drapes offer no privacy.....

Pros: Easy acces to freeway and price
Cons: Offer no privacy.
Location: None
Its ok.....but drapes don't slide to give you privacy.... Building hall ways to rooms dated...room kind of small .....if you want privacy don't get a room here...if you just want to rest its ok.

Adequate room space, except for no closet.

Pros: Big bathroom and good heating/cooling in room.
Cons: Shower head and closet
Location: Close to freeway and lots of arestaurants and businesses, including car dealerships which we needed
The staff was very accommodating. The iron in our room did not work, and they brought us another one in a timely manner. The shower head was dated and didn't have the flow we would have liked. The bed was very comfortable and our room was made up very nicely during our 3 night stay.

Great Place to Stay

Pros: The Breakfast
Cons: when booking with a third party make sure to get deposit info first, there is a 200 deposit due upon check in
Location: Clarion Concord
After reading the reviews i almost backed out of my stay!!! So glad i didn't i actually stayed for 2 days and have no complaints, The rooms were clean bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was incredible.

Clean, safe lodging

Pros: Location, cleanliness, price
Location: Close to the freeway, close to shopping, banking, restaurants.
When I was checking in, the front desk clerk did not make me feel welcome. She was not unpleasant, but she projected somewhat of a negative demeanor towards me. I was pleasant to her despite her cold attitude. I stayed there before and I was in the main tower, which was very nice. This stay, I ended up at an "exterior room" (front desk clerk used that phrase). I was not given a map to see where my room was located, all I was told was "drive around to the right side of the building and park near the handicapped parking space." I found the elevator, and when I got to the room I found it to be far inferior to the room from my previous stay. It felt like a step above a Motel 6. The room itself is facing the hotel's air conditioning system. Which is ironic because the A/C did not work. There was a loud noise from something that could be heard in the bathroom, probably something to do with the large AC unit, which made it necessary to keep the bathroom door closed. There were no power outlets near the bed, which I am accustomed to having near me at other hotels. The room had a curious smell, not sure if it was new paint or what, but it did not smell right. I would say, if you can stay in the main part of the hotel, the experience would be much nicer.
