Top tier establishment; with friendly staff, exceptional A+ breakfast buffet, super clean facility, exceptionally clean rooms, quiet. stopped off for 2 days, then extended a day on our walk from Dunkirk to Cherbourg. Don’t hesitate to book and don’t listen to any of the negative reviews! Exceptional!!!! (a bar by the people or area for adults only (seperate pool or mini pool), would be an added bonus in the future? :) Keep up the great work!!! Loved it!

We stayed here for one night as a stop gap during our time in France. The hotel had parking, which was the main reason we booked. Staff weren’t overly helpful, but this could have been due to the language barrier. The room was very disappointing. There was no air conditioning, although fans were provided. The carpet was covered in marks and stains. There were coffee drips and stains on the sides. The whole room didn’t feel very clean. The hairdryer worked, but it would have taken hours to fully dry a head of hair with it and the back room didn’t include a proper shower, just a bath with a hand held hose. We didn’t try to bar or restaurant, so I can’t comment on these. The grounds are nice. This could be a nice place to stay with some work, but it left us disappointed.

The standard room felt cramped in the attic space, otherwise fine.

The property is beautiful and in a very nice location to several Normandy area sites. The staff was kind but not as well informed as a concierge and since they didn’t have one, it seemed to us that this should be remedied. For example we wanted to know about the distillery closest to the hotel and they could not tell us anything even though their products were available for purchase from them. It wasn’t a big thing but a miss that seems pretty easy to address. We would happily stay their again-especially for the reasonable pricing we were charged for this period.
