"This was our third time here - it has become an annual tradition for my husband and me. We love the cozy feel of it and that it is nestled in the woods with no one else around. This year, we did our annual outing to a winery and distillery, enjoyed meeting some new people and the live band. Back at the cabin, we made a delicious meal and played some games while enjoying the fireplace and battery-operated candle lighting. The water continues to be "stinky" but we always bring bottled water and "suck it up" when taking showers or doing dishes. We did have trouble with the DVD player (brought some favorite movies) and when that didn't work, we found a movie on the Roku TV. The light near the staircase also doesn't work, despite us bringing and trying new batteries. All in all, we had another fantastic stay and look forward to booking again next year. "The view of the lake and the location were perfect for a get together of Veteran friends and our families. The little ones enjoyed the toys and the playscape while the adults enjoyed the open space to congregate and enjoy each others presence and reminisce and tell tall tales alongside the fireplace. It truly was a wonderful time to get our families together on our 2nd Annual Friendsgiving. We all were very pleased with the separate rooms and bedspace, and especially the kitchen. It was very well stocked with the tools to craft all the meals. My Veteran friends and their families and I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone. It was a pleasure to stay here!"
