While my recent stay at Red Roof Inn Ashtabula - Austinburg left much to be desired, I must admit my own experience may have contributed to the overall poor rating. The cleanliness, staff service, and property condition were not up to par, but I acknowledge that I may have had certain expectations that weren't met. Despite this, I believe there is room for improvement in these areas for future guests.

I checked in and got the key the door would not open so the front desk person opened the room 1st red flag. When I drove around to enter the room I found the bed was not made and all the sheets and ect! were on the floor. 2nd red flag. Went back and wanted my money back the Manager was there and keep trying to make excuses 3rd red flag I hope I get my money back the manager said you know it could take Two weeks which is better than staying there 1 night.
