I booked my room on-line weeks in advance and paid for it in full before arrival. When I arrived to check in 20 minutes after 3pm the desk clerk informed me that there would be a 20 minute wait before a room would become available (I had just finished driving for five hours). I chose to be patient and wait. An hour later I approach the front desk only to witness a couple being greeted kindly as they approach the desk and given a room key without a moment's hesitation. When I asked about my room key, she took her time looking for a room with no apology for the wait knowing full well my room was paid for...there were other instances of rude or snide remarks made by the reception clerks but this will suffice.
