Pros: The staff. Perhaps not the cleaning lady, but overall the staff seems cabable.
Cons: The conditions of the rooms.
While the staff were mostly pleasant, the rooms were musty, dirty, and the walls too thin. I expected better.

Pros: The staff. They were great.
Cons: The beds are showing their age. Time for a replacements.
Location: Nothing special about the location. It's just off the highway. Ok
Staff, friendly and helpful. Rooms, nice. Couldn't have had a nicer weekend.

Needs to be cleaned everywhere. The hallways, bathroom, and walls were dirty. The only saving grace was the guy at the counter. He was friendly and very polite.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!

Location: Right off the highway. Not much to do nearby. It's Huntsville, TX.
This hotel is horrible. When I arrived, I had to get the front dest staff to reclean the bathroom because there was hair all over the floor and tub. I found two dead cockroaches on the floor. The shower head barely has a mist of water coming out of it. By far, one the worst hotel experiences I have had in a long time. I will NEVER stay here again.

I am sorry you found our hotel a bit inconvenient during your arrival. It also seems you were not satisfied with our hotel or amenities. We hope if and when you return to our small town you will perhaps give us another try.

Guest Beware!

This was by far our worse hotel experience! I told the morning supervisor about the front desk clerk and showed her the pictures of both rooms and how dirty they were. She said you all will refund my money!

The AC was loud and didn't work properly. It didn't cool very well at all. It didn't seem very clean feeling and not at all like every other La Quinta I'd ever stayed in.

Not the Best Experience

Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: 1. New air unit 2. Toilet and tub drainage 3. Mold in the tub 4. Re-train some employees on how to be courteous
Location: Don't go to Denny's.....horrible service!!!
We were dropping our son off at SHSU. Therefore, we knew hotels/motels were going to get booked for that weekend rather quickly. When we got to the hotel (about 4pm), we did get greeted and helped by a friendly young man (didn't get his name since he was not wearing a name tag). He asked for my license to verify our reservation which was paid in advanced. Within minutes, there were 5 families behind us waiting to be helped. While the receptionist waited for verification from the person in charge of cleaning that our room was ready, he moved to the computer on the other side to begin helping the family behind us. Then, a lady with a name tag I could not see very well began to help him. She was not friendly at all. She started typing away and then asked me rather rudely for my license. I told her I had already given my license and that our room was already paid for. She did not apologize. She kept typing, printed an acknowledgment for me to sign, showed us how to get to our room and that was it. That's not the worst....when we got to room 255, we left our luggage, and immediately left to go help our son move into his dorm. We didn't get back until close to 11:00 pm. We took showers in a bathtub that had mold and the water drained very, very slowly. When the toilet was flushed, it would rise rather high; and then it would not drain completely. The worst was the air unit. IT DID NOT WORK!!! We were hot and sweaty all night!!! We were glad to leave the next day.

You get what you pay for...

The smell of smoke in the room was overwhelming. Everything was clean although outdated. So, for ~50/night, you get what you pay for.

Bed was horrible. Air conditioning was a joke. Sweated all night and I normally only keep my air at 74. Pool was actually pretty decent. Great size.
