A needed rest

I arrived very tired and needing rest. The room was big and comfortable. The stay was exactly what was needed.

Ren Faire Stay

Hotel is comfortable and updated. Just wish I didn't have to hear the elevator ding allllll night long. Our room was at the end of the hall too, maybe the volume needs to be turned down...

Decent location to RenFest

The hotel was adequate. Clean and friendly staff. There was a long black hair in the bed when I pulled back the top sheet so that kinda bugged me. Had to ask the hotel staff several times to refill the food containers at breakfast. My kids also found a toilet under the stairs. Interesting place to store it, but OK.

Great emergency hotel stay

It was a last minute decision to stay at a hotel in our home town after we had an energy at our house. Staff was fast&friendly, room was clean and the breakfast was great the next morning for my daughters and I.

Over priced

Was booked full, staff was stressed, tv channels didn't work, too expensive, exterior door wouldn't open with key. Very clean and convenient.

We strive to make our guest stay memorable and I understand that w fell short on our goal due to the tv channels not working and the exterior door not working. It was such a headache for the staff having to deal with the chaos due to the tv. We did stress our concerns and frustration to Comcast as well and wondered why they would make an upgrade to their system and didn't test if our systems was compatible for the upgrade. Breakfast was suboptimal, gravy cold. In general cooked items not warm enough, not covered. No utensils for bread, pastry items.

Needs updating.

Hotel was basically clean, but in need of updates. Some of the staff were friendly, others indifferent. They didn't seem to care that the sofa bed was completely unusable. Mattress had disintegrated. Main bed was comfortable and room was clean except for carpet felt dirty and hard to cool with wall unit. TV was on the wall between sofa and main bed and could not be twisted to face either side. The this made viewing ackward.

Clean and fairly comfortable. Bed was very hard. We discovered the mattress had been flipped over and the pillow top was on the "bottom." I understand that we request rooms but that they would not necessarily be able to fulfill that request. We requested a quiet, corner room on the 1st floor. We received the 4th floor (top floor), next to the elevator in the middle of the hall. The woman who checked us in did not make any mention of not being able to accomodate our requests. All in all we love La Quinta and maybe we need to be more assertive when checking in.
