The hotel staff was very accommodating from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and everything that was described on the website was honored. The price was really great for the quality of room and service that was offered. I definitely will be using them again and will recommend them to family and friends.

My Stay at Motel 8

Location: There is a Walmart across the road and 3/4 eating places within 500 yards.
The staff could not have been more nicer and helpful. My room was lovely and clean, the bed was confortable. It was also quiet in motel even though it was crowd. I am going to stay there again.

Happy with hotel!

Super 8 was great for this level of hotel. Room was clean. Bath was a bit dated, but clean also. Staff was very friendly and location was convenient to where I had meetings and even though it was right next to shopping, was quiet. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Uncomfortable

At first everything appeared to be okay, everything was decent upon arrival, but things started getting weird. The guy at the front desk seems to be the person that does EVERYTHING. And that makes the stay uncomfortable. It's like he watches the cameras because he randomly pops up where you are ALL DAY, EVERYDAY; just creepy and annoying. I felt like I had no privacy. Upon check out I did NOT request a wake up call, got one anyway. As Im up gathering my things to leave and it's only 10:45am (check out is 11am) the phone continued to ring; the guy was right outside my door calling my room phone and I just felt even more uncomfortable! Like why would you be standing at my door calling my room and you haven't even given me a chance to leave! And soon as I did leave the room and I'm all the way on the opposite end of the hall he's yelling asking the whereabouts of a dang face towel, because "I brought YALL two face towels yesterday." Why are you even counting the linen as your guest are still present. The whole ordeal really just made me uncomfortable and not want to ever stay here again. I was scared to use the microwave and fridge because they were so old and nasty looking. Because of my uncomfortable experiences I would not recommend anyone staying here.

sorry if you felt uncomfortable.... i am the owner of the hotel and i live @ the property running the hotel as a family business. it is always my honor and duty to run the business. i do work a lot of hours no doubt but once again i am so so sorry if it made you feel uncomfortable.

Close to several towns and attractions.

Pros: The manager. The location .
Cons: Keep up the good work. Hhave the manager to train other managers.
Location: Was near Livingston, Tx. Livingston Lake State Park is locate near by Is about an hour from Houston and many attractions.
The manager is wonderful. Very helpful to tell us about the local places to eat and places of interest. Helped us with the computer. He made sure the eating area was clean and well stocked. Was very friendly and had a warm personality. His wife is also very nice. We wish we could find his type of person at more of the places to stay.

when i got to the room thee was trash in the tash cans and the room had a bad smell i went up front to lt know staff and they gave me another room the only good thing about this hotel was the service other than that nah i would not recomend it
