My family, friends and I had a great time. The pros: peaceful, quiet, relaxing, roomy. There are 8 of us. Everything was as advertised. Cons: wife is not all that great, phone towers to not pick up, appliances should be upgrades. I understand nature focused but rust on the refrigerator is simply gross for me. The hospitality was great over all but I would say bring your own towels for sure. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with lift and two rest rooms and their were not enough towels, towels are very thin. Overall nice.

It is such a beautiful place so close to Houston yet removed enough to feel like you are in the forest far away! I would have liked not to have to bring all our own food, but it worked out ok. We brought a small grill with us and did not dogs and burgers. The restaurant was not open while we stayed but we knew ahead of time. Beautiful location!!

Pros: Peace & quiet!!! Breakfast, views, trails, swimming
The kids loved it! There were lots of hiking trails to explore. The pool & pond were well maintained. The breakfast was great! We had a 2 bedroom cabin & it was very comfortable. I loved just sitting in the rocking chair on the covered porch. We are already talking about a return trip!
