Pros: Ease of check-in, friendly staff
Cons: In certain areas the hotel is showing it's age a bit, but still an excellent place to stay.
Location: Lots to do near by, with the Concert Pavilion, to great shopping, to a number of great restaurants.....
This hotel is in the perfect location for work or fun in The Woodlands. I have stayed their several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is excellent.

The location of this hotel is excellent: on one side you have the river walk and on the other the shopping mall and movie theaters. I stayed here from Christmas to New Year and the hotel was almost empty. The disadvantage of this was that they decided not to put the breakfast buffet so we had to order from the menu which is very limited. The room looked a little dusty and We had a very difficult time "begging" the cleaning woman for four towels instead of three. I had to do this every single day...

Cons: Rooms need to be updated and Wi-Fi needs to just be part of the stay, it is almost 2016. It is expected, not an add-on.
Location: Great shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance.....perfect location
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to be getting a little old, I have stayed there several times over the years, but this time it just is showing it's age. I think it would be well served for a face lift. But I would imagine it is full all the time, as the location is excellent.

Yes, it is a great location for shopping and entertainment. We were surprised of your comments about our décor and wear and tear, as we have had a recent upgrade on both and get compliments every day. I will take your comments to our General Manager and Director of Hotel Operations and let them present them to our Owners for further discussion. Perhaps we could make some changes that would please you. Effective January 15, 2015, all Marriott Rewards and Ritz Carlton Rewards Members who book directly on Marriott.com or Marriott brand websites, will have complimentary basic WiFi service. Had your reservation been booked through www.Marriott.com, your internet would have been comp. Internet charges are still in effect for those guests who don’t book thru our website, due to an extremely high bandwidth that we offer. We have to provide a safe and effective service that allows each guestroom to connect to six devices, VPM compatibility; 24 hour support to troubleshoot connectivity issues and limited data protection. This type of service and bandwidth incurs a cost so we must charge our guests for a service they value. Again, our Marriott Rewards guests who book through our website are not charged. There was no fridge or microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was easily adjustable.

ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE WATERWAY HOTEL,SUPERB SERVICE EXPECIALLY FOOD SERVICE AND VALET PARKING. THE PERSON GREETING THE GUEST AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE WAS A LITTLE ANNOYING DUE TO HER PERSISTENCE AND HER RUSHING MANNER.
