Hotel needs updating and improvements. Beds and bathrooms are outdated and could be cleaner.

Nice enough, complicated access

Pros: The pool and hot tub! Tile is a bit worn and dated, but overall they were both clean and allowed us to relax after a long drive.
Cons: Signage directing traffic to hotel. Very confusing and frustrating. Furniture in room a bit dated and worn.
Location: We only stayed one night during a road trip and didn't eat in the area, but there were quite a few restaurants.
For a one night stay, the hotel was nice enough. Our GPS did not direct us to the hotel correctly and there was no signage on how to get to the hotel. We could see it, and if we could have cut through a parking lot, we could have reached it. So that started off check-in with a bit of frustration. The desk clerk was polite enough, but stated that since I had paid through Expedia there would be a $50 hold on my card. Inconvenient, but I get it. Checked my online statement the next morning and it showed that Country Inn & Suites had charged my card for $137.55, which was more than what I had booked the room at and more than double what I was told the hold would be. Again, not a big issue, but annoying, and not what the desk clerk had informed me of. The room was adequate and clean enough. Pillows were a bit on the small side and more the size of couch pillows than bed pillows. Also, there was no hair dryer in the room at check-in, but desk clerk was able to locate one. The pool and hot tub were wonderful to relax in after a very long day of driving. We appreciated that the pool water was indeed heated, unlike another facility we had stayed at. Breakfast was good; the potatoes and sausage were really tasty, the eggs, ehh. Rating the hotel a 3 primarily for ease of access and the credit card issue; was great for the single night we spent. Dear Mrs. Kanin, I apologize for the accessibility confusion. We appreciated your stay despite the GPS did not give our new access, which is also now more convenient once you are familiar at our exit. Hotel is on left side but you have to take right turn at traffic light, all directional arrows are marked on new access to hotel.

Nothing special, jus nice clean rooms and very quiet hotel.....good for one night stands!!!!!

For being dog friendly was ok..jot a lot of grassy area for a dog..the elevator was very dirty..room was ok.

Exactly what I needed

Needed a room in the area for an early morning call time, was able to book quickly and the gentleman at the desk truly embodied customer service.

My experience with the staff was excellent but my room had paint or scratches inside the bathroom door. Half the trimming to the bathroom door was also missing. Also, the chair inside the room had stains on it. It was not clean. Even though the staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice, I will not book that hotel again.

Not so good. Very disappointed. We reserved a room the night before arrival and when we got there to check in our room was given to someone else. They found us another room but it was not what we reserved and it was someone else's room that hasn't showed up yet. Very disappointed
