Great for my giant dogs!

I love La Quinta's pet welcome policy & have stayed at various locations across the USA with all my large dogs at various times. They were great & welcoming for my 165lb malamute and 70 lb German Shepherd. The hotel was very clean, you would not think dogs come & go here. Also many grassy areas to wander and pet poop bags available if you forgot yours!

We love having your pets!!! Looks like you have a few large ones! I have a 75lbs husky myself and I know they can be a handful traveling. I am happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to see you and your furry friends soon!

Good for an overnight stay

Pros: It was where we needed it to be while on the road.
Cons: Needs better lighting in the room.
Location: It is about an hour east of Nashville on I-40. So lots of things to do in Nashville.
We had a late check in and the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was nothing to get excited about so we went to Shoney's. The only complaint I have about the room was the lighting. It was not well lit. But I have seen this in many of the hotels I have stayed at lately so it's not just a problem with La Quinta. Over all it was a good nights sleep and I would stay there again.

Cons: I know the hotel can't control it, but there was a lot of truck noise from the gas station next door

The trucks come through it seems more often on the weekends than weekdays here. I am glad you had a nice stay though and we hope to see you again on your next trip to Cookeville.

Great stay at this establishment. Room was clean. Cost was good. Had breakfast out early which made for an efficient start to the next leg of our road trip. Smooth check-in. Staff did their jobs well and were friendly. Nice workout room albeit small. The equipment was in great shape. Will stay here again the next time we pass through.

Pleasant staff, they forgot to follow through with my 0400 wake up call and forgot to finish making my bed and bring fresh towels when they were cleaning my room. Clean hotel, recently redone.

Excellent value - stayed a week in business.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent accommodations - the fridge in the room really worked! Excellent value. A great breakfast served daily - every morning - with a variety - well worth it. A very hard working lady - Cathy oversaw the daily breakfast operation - I have to mention her by name - because she kept the breakfast area spotless and well supplied.

First time at La Quinta~ we will be back

Cons: Hot coffee would be welcomed
After leaving a very sub-par hotel in Atlanta, La Quinta was a breath of fresh air...Literally. Enforced no-smoking policy, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and welcoming staff.

Being a pet friendly hotel surprisingly meant over a dozen dogs - some big, that continually barked. I appreciated the hotel gave us a $10 credit for the noise but they really need to manage the amount and types of dogs they allow to minimize this. It's time for the hotel to renovate but it was still reasonable.
