“Schweitzer Village was pretty vacant this time of year and we were thankful for that since we were able to get an amazing room with a beautiful view. Each staff member was extremely helpful and the Humbird had a great game room, gym, and rooftop jacuzzi.”
“The room and buildings were very clean - the issue was the pool area. Super dirty, visible algae on the side of the pool and hot tub, and the other hot tub was filled with bugs. Grass was growing through the bricks on the deck - the entire area was clearly not taken care of. I understand this is the shoulder season, which is why we wanted to come - to enjoy the quiet and pool area. But this was just gross.

“I would give this place a five stars except when you pull up and come in they surprise you with a $10 parking fee to park in the parking lot. This isn’t the Ritz Carlton or the Hyatt in downtown Chicago. This is northern Idaho next to a Walmart type shopping center where they charge you $10 to pull into the public parking lot in the middle of the main drag. I have no idea why. Forewarned, I complained to the property manager and all I got was an email stating they’ll be more transparent about it……
