The right room at the right price

We booked on a short notice and received the best rate in the area by far. Great location that is within walking distance of downtown. The highlight was Karen's breakfast and her conversation every morning. We would stay there again.

Nice inn that felt like being in a home rather than a hotel, including the shared bath (that part wasn't great as it feels odd to share a bathroom with strangers). However, the included breakfast was delicious and different each morning. Only drawback was waiting until 9 AM to get food. The kitchen was available during the day so it was possible to cook, make coffee, use the refrigerator so that was a bonus. Overall, it was very pleasant and I would return.

Pros: The innkeeper was very friendly and a great cook!
Cons: The house is old but well maintained.
Location: Near the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Very pleasant experience. Local people were very friendly.

A Sweet Green Apple in Cooperstown

Posted Aug 11, 2015 on Hotels
The Green Apple Inn was all that I hoped for on our weekend getaway. Quiet and clean, the Inn is within walking distance of Main Street, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and Lake Oneonta. Within minutes of our arrival, it felt like home.

perfect location

This was a B & B located across the street from Lake Ostego - which is so beautiful and the highlight of our trip. The B & B was okay but I think the owner was getting ready to close for the season - the timing could have been better.
