Great Location

Posted Oct 10, 2017
Pros: We didn't have to wait till 2 p.m. to check in, our room was available at 10 a.m. so they let us check-in, I thought that was great.
Cons: The laundry room was out of order, I would make Shure that everything is working.
Location: Walking distance to Tivoli gardens the museum, the marble church. Really everything is about walking distance. great for pre-cruise or post-cruise.
Close to everything. We took the bus to the airport we walked maybe 1 minute to the bus stop. It leaves you right in front of terminal 3. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area, very helpful.

Dear Guest great to see you had a pleasant experience with us. We do try to check in people if rooms are cleaned from the early check outs. Even though we are fully booked most times our staff sometimes can do magic at get rooms ready before if they move things around. So glad to see that gave you a possitive experience. It is sometimes the small things that makes a big difference. I will pass on your feedback to our staff :-)

Functional hotel

Posted Sep 23, 2017
Pros: Location, view
Location: Great view of fireworks over Tivoli at night. Close to most things, ie walkable.
Danhostel is in a great location, clean, has the basics and comfortable enough. Just don't expect more.

Crowded hostel

Posted Sep 7, 2017
I didn't expect to use a shared dormitory room, because the Expedia information was somewhat misleading. This hostel is very crowded with a lot of kids yelling and knocking the door at night. I was provided with bed sheet, linen, and towel. The bathroom has hand soup, but no shampoo, body wash, or facial cleanser.

Dear Guest We are sorry if Expedia have misleading information on their site. We are a hostel and as you mention we do actually provide these things included in the price that other hostels charges guests for. We do have a lot of groups and are in constant dialog with teachers and group leaders to avoid noise from young groups. We do apologize on behalf of our groups regarding the noise they might have caused. Kind regards Michell Kristensen Danhostel Copenhagen city

Great location, not too restful

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Bigger cafe
Location: Short walk to Tivoli and central train station.Really just a walk away from city centre.
Easy to find for first timers in Copenhagen and handy for walking to the central attractions. Room was ok but pretty small and airless, I really found the beds uncomfortable especially with only one thin pillow supplied. Everything was clean and fresh though and the cafe reasonably priced. The facilities (cafe and lifts/elevators) just can't really copy with the number of guests, especially at breakfast time. Overall it's fine for those on a budget who want a central location but you get what you pay for.

Sorry to hear especially the last part. We do aim to have all our guests leaving us with a good memory. Seems like feedback we can work on. Thanks for your comments we have things to consider and also positive sites for guests who have demands for staying centrally without paying the high city prices especially when a group of many people. Kind regards Michell Kristensen Danhostel Copenhagen city

Dear guest Thanks for your comments. We are actually quite low prices compared to our competitive hostels and hotels but Copenhagen is an expensive city in general as a top 10 city in the world of most expensive cities unfortunately. Kind regards Michell Kristensen Danhostel Copenhagen city

Modern hostel

Good location, friendly staff and clean/modern hotel. I would stay again. Bad thing: the bike rental is very expensive, usually hostels have a cheaper price for rentals.

WiFi was really bad. The guest kitchen was great for preparing fresh food. Elevators were fast. Rooms were small and very basic. Baggage can be stored in special room for 20 dkk per piece.

Price of a hotel for a hostel. Rooms are not the cleanest and beds uncomfortable. Not recommended.
