We all had different quality rooms.

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Cons: Quality of the rooms
Location: Walking distance to most
Traveling with my two colleagues and we each had a different quality room. One was renovated and while the other two weren't, they were completely different sizes. Mine was tiny, hers twice the size. First experience here, and mine room was slightly larger then a closet. We had lots of rain and the window leaked terribly

Across from Tivoli Gardens

Posted Sep 18, 2017
We arrived at 10 in the morning and didn't expect to be abke to check in early, but they had a room ready. So we were thrilled!! However, at this time we also learned the hotel is undergoing construction from 10-5 daily. I was definitely disappointed because nobody informed me of this on Expedia. They put us in a room far from the noise so it didn't turn out to be so bad after all. The breakfast room/restaurant was moved into a conference room for a makeshift dining room. It was adequate and the buffet/omelette cooked to order menu more than made up for any initial hesitation. They also had fresh gluten free bread and cereal! The most important experience came when my 5 year old daughter had an unexpected earache from being in the cold damp windy air. This occurred in the evening after we were preparing for bed around 10 pm. Our flight to leave was for the next morning so I was very concerned to fly. I went downstairs and the concierge was more than helpful. He went above and beyond what I would have expected. I was alone with my daughter and didn't want to drag her out in the cold air. He called a doctor who called in a prescription and then proceeded to entertain my daughter while I went out to the pharmacy. This was the nicest thing that any hotel staff has ever done. I don't remember his name but he is a young guy and was an angel!! I'm eternally grateful. This helped my daughter get pain relief and sleep and the ability to fly the next day!! I would definitely return!

Great Design and Location

Very helpful staff at this centrally located classic Danish designed hotel. Room was a bit small and it would have been better if renovations had been completed. Woukd gladly stay here again!

Great location in the heart of Copenhagen, right across the street from the entrance of Tivoli and near the central train station. Breakfast very good, lots to choose from and extended times. Rooms could use an update but are clean and they are working on parts of the hotel so maybe this will happen soon. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with very central location

Posted Aug 25, 2017
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Breakfast wasn't up to the standard we had come to expect from Radisson given our experience in Stockholm a week earlier.
Location: Visitor centre is close and we picked up the tourist bus, boarded the train to Malmo and plenty of fine restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
We enjoyed an excellent corner room on the 18th floor with fabulous views over the central station and Tivoli gardens. We could also see the Bridge to Malmo in the distance - breathtaking! The staff were friendly and very obliging. Some of the staff at breakfast appeared a little inexperienced but they tried their best.

Great accessible room.

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: It was really wheelchair accessible. It was a great location and staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: The rooms needed a bit of updating
Location: Great location. Opposite the main train station. Easy to walk to tourist spots. Cafes and restaurants nearby were good
Shifted to this hotel at the last minute as the hotel room we booked for us turned out not to be wheelchair friendly although we were informed that it was. This was really good. The room was totally wheelchair friendly..... the views overlooking the Tivoli Gardens were lovely. We could see the night illuminations in the garden too. Lots of cafes and places to dine around. Staff was ever so helpful. It's exactly opposite the main railway station and a very convenient location. We could walk around to most of the tourist places with the electric wheelchair...... the streets were good, not so cobbled as in most European cities. Had a wonderful stay here and do recommend a stay here

Perfect location; a treat for design aficionados

Posted Aug 21, 2017
Cons: Latest remodeling still in progress. Main restaurant closed. Some old systems work still needed (bathroom floor drain backed up on last morning).
Location can't be beat; accessible to everywhere by walking, transit (and, of course, bike). Unlike other good hotels, it has air conditioning, so unlike those other hotels, there is no need to open windows on summer nights to noisy streets below. The pinnacle of 1960s Danish design, is undergoing gradual restoration - but even some of the previous/unfaithful remodelings exude 60s charm. Request a room overlooking Tivoli, and you can watch the fireworks from your room. Housekeeping staff is especially considerate of erratic schedules, and some of the concierge staff are warm and very helpful. Request a tour of room 606, the only remaining untouched original Arne Jacobsen design. Great(!) breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit for hotel guests and 24-hour coffee/espresso/latte/cappuccino/warm milk machine with exceptionally good coffee.

New and old rooms

Posted Aug 20, 2017
Location: City Center - everything!
We stayed twice, the first time in a newly renovated room - very nice! The second time, in an older room, not as nice... Staff was very nice, food and drink was good. Location is outstanding.
