Disappointing!

Posted Oct 8, 2017
Pros: Location.
Cons: Restaurant and bar facilities. Provision of other on-site facilities, e.g. a hotel shop.
Location: Good, central location, close to main railway station, Tivoli Gardens and starting point for tourist bus tours.
Location of the hotel was excellent but, owing in part to it being in the process of renovation, the facilities available were well below those I would expect to find in a 5 star hotel. The room windows leaked water into the room when it rained and the bar and restaurant facilities were very limited and not of the standard I would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel.

We all had different quality rooms.

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Cons: Quality of the rooms
Location: Walking distance to most
Traveling with my two colleagues and we each had a different quality room. One was renovated and while the other two weren't, they were completely different sizes. Mine was tiny, hers twice the size. First experience here, and mine room was slightly larger then a closet. We had lots of rain and the window leaked terribly

Dear Patti, Thank you for your feedback. Currently we have both renovated and yet to be renovated rooms available at the hotel. As much as we try, it is not yet possible to accommodate everyone in the renovated floors due to stay pattern of other guests and such challenges. The Windows of all rooms at the hotel are currently being resealed to ensure no leakage at the hotel for the future. Please do return and we will do our utmost to ensure you are accommodated in the renovated rooms in future. Kind regards, Brian Gleeson General Manager

Across from Tivoli Gardens

Posted Sep 18, 2017
We arrived at 10 in the morning and didn't expect to be abke to check in early, but they had a room ready. So we were thrilled!! However, at this time we also learned the hotel is undergoing construction from 10-5 daily. I was definitely disappointed because nobody informed me of this on Expedia. They put us in a room far from the noise so it didn't turn out to be so bad after all. The breakfast room/restaurant was moved into a conference room for a makeshift dining room. It was adequate and the buffet/omelette cooked to order menu more than made up for any initial hesitation. They also had fresh gluten free bread and cereal! The most important experience came when my 5 year old daughter had an unexpected earache from being in the cold damp windy air. This occurred in the evening after we were preparing for bed around 10 pm. Our flight to leave was for the next morning so I was very concerned to fly. I went downstairs and the concierge was more than helpful. He went above and beyond what I would have expected. I was alone with my daughter and didn't want to drag her out in the cold air. He called a doctor who called in a prescription and then proceeded to entertain my daughter while I went out to the pharmacy. This was the nicest thing that any hotel staff has ever done. I don't remember his name but he is a young guy and was an angel!! I'm eternally grateful. This helped my daughter get pain relief and sleep and the ability to fly the next day!! I would definitely return!

Great Design and Location

Very helpful staff at this centrally located classic Danish designed hotel. Room was a bit small and it would have been better if renovations had been completed. Woukd gladly stay here again!

Great location in the heart of Copenhagen, right across the street from the entrance of Tivoli and near the central train station. Breakfast very good, lots to choose from and extended times. Rooms could use an update but are clean and they are working on parts of the hotel so maybe this will happen soon. Staff very friendly and helpful.
