Nice hotel with central location

Posted Dec 12, 2014
This hotel has a central location a couple of blocks from the central train station and Tivoli Gardens. This is a great advantage but also problematic, as the immediate neighborhood is a bit seedy. This can lead to noise from drunk people late at night. We were there in winter, so it wasn't too bad, but could be a real problem in the summer. However, the hotel itself was outstanding. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful. The wine hour from 5-6 was a lot of fun and a nice way to unwind at the end of the day. Overall, I would definitely stay there again, but if I was there in the summer, I would ask for an inward facing room to avoid the street noise.

A little pricey for what it was.

No complaints. Nice staff and decent rooms. But definitely no bargain.

Excellent hotel for city break in Copenhagen

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Excellent staff, excellent decor, amazing breakfast, and great location.
Cons: A minor thing - the plug in the bathroom sink did not work. We did report it to housekeeping, but no action was taken.
Location: Lots within walking distance - Tivoli, Illums Bolighus, the palaces, and the wonderful waterfront on the way to Nyhavn.
From check in, to breakfast through to check out - everything was excellent with friendly, helpful staff everywhere in the hotel.

Nice Hotel but very small rooms.

Pros: Cleanliness
Location: Not in the greatest area.
No assistance with bags. Short on staff. This is a typical European Basic Hotel.

Prima hotel!

Prima hotel, dicht bij het station en het centrum. Modern ingericht. Buurt is 's-nachts wat minder maar niet onoverkomelijk. Douche was iets minder luxe.

Good hotel, well located near central station

It was a great place to stay, the rooms are compact yet comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food. The staff were helpful and they have wine available at 5pm.

Great hotel and staff... Good location.

Really enjoyed staying here - perfect for two nights as a base to explore the city. Happy hour with free wine is great... Only recommendation is pack some ear plugs if your room is on the front, can be a bit noisy at night.

Viihtyisä hotelli loistavalla sijainnilla

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Huoneet olivat viihtyisät, kaunis sisustus, erityisesti varmasti naisasiakkaiden mieleen.

nice clean hotel with good service

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: the hotel is only 2 years old and still has a new feel to it and the staff were very helpful. the breakfast buffet was very good
Cons: Nothing regarding the hotel itself
Location: thelocation is great for being a very short walk from the shopping area/tivoli gardens etc, although was a little loud at night outside
lovely weekend away, beautiful city and lots of site seeing to do. The shopping is great and mostly all in one long street. The city is designed for wlaking and cycling (you can hire one from most hotels)

Excellent city centre hotel

Posted Dec 20, 2013
Pros: Clean quiet and comfortable
This is an ideally placed hotel for accessing all the sights of Copenhagen. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, recommending restaurants, bus routes and directions to various landmarks. The room was very clean and comfortable if a little on the small side, quiet and well equipped. Breakfast was good with a decent selection of fresh fruits ,breads and pastries. In an otherwise expensive city Anderson hotel provided good value for money and if we return to Copenhagen I would definitely stay there again.
