Great dining room but very soft bed

Posted Apr 22, 2017
The hotel is a very nice place, great design and beautiful spaces. The breakfast is very complete and had good healthy and vegetarian options. I found a lot to improve in the room management, the bed mattress are too soft and the cleaning ladies did not make the bed properly, the towels were let on the beds and not in the bathroom hangers.

Great location for seeing the sites.

Posted Apr 18, 2017
Pros: Bar, location, general ambience of the room.
Cons: Cleaning and cost of breakfast
Location: Location is recommended.
Liked the location of the hotel, bar was pleasant and although rooms weren't huge, there were nice. We headed out for breakfast as it seemed expensive and my room wasn't cleaned every day (Ok they offered it at 16:15, by which point I needed to relax). All in all I would stay again.

Average hotel with good location

Posted Apr 14, 2017
Pros: Central location without being noisy. Price. Easy to get to train station, metro, and Tivoli Gardens. Squeeze your own OJ machine at breakfast
Cons: Safer bathtub.
Location: Easy access pedestrian walkways filled with stores. For something different, try the well set up Medical Museum which has a guided tour in English.
Pleasant experience other than the coolness of the front desk staff. When I asked about the exercise/fitness room, I was informed in a matter of fact manner that "it will be open in a couple of months" with no apologies offered. The room was clean. The bathroom had what I would consider a dangerous tub with a high wall, making entry and exit difficult, no bars to hold on to and a very slippery floor. When I requested a bath mat for the tub, I was informed that they did not have them.

Deceiving

Posted Apr 7, 2017
Pros: Location.
Cons: Need new furniture, new or cleaner bed sheets, pillows, thicker walls, security camera's on the apartment hallways, cleaning of the rooms, and more...
Location: Location is great. This is the only good thing about the Ascot. Tivoli Gardens, Central train station, Stroget shopping area, and many more.
First of this was rated as a 4 Star Hotel. We've stayed in plenty of 4 Star Hotels. Unfortunately, this stay was definitely not a 4 Star, we felt deceived by this. We made reservations with the 4 Star Hotel and instead was placed in a apartment that had mold growing in the bathroom. Some of the mold looked like it was just painted over. There was a closet in the bathroom that we thought was a toilet room, it was a mini walk in closet with wood crumbs on the floor. We read on their website that the apartments were modernized. This was not the case with our apartment. I can go on more about our stay, but I would run out of space to write. I hope that the management reads this and makes changes to their policy. This is a deceiving advertisement.

Great location

I would recommend this hotel. It was clean and in a great location. Not far from tourist attractions. Right down the street from Tívoli and wicked close to the metro.

Mid-level hotel near Train and City Hall

Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: Location, Facilities, Staff
Cons: Hate that the shower head is in the middle of the tub rather than the end
It was a very easy experience checking in and checking out the staff was very friendly and recommended several great restaurants nearby. The room was always clean and we were walking distance to everywhere. Would definitely stay here again.

Ideal location for a wedding in Copenhagen

Posted Mar 9, 2017
Pros: all day free coffee and tea and neat cheeze bar for breakfast
Cons: They should post a few of their free maps around the hotel and in each room
Location: If you get married at the city hall, this is a good location to stay. Also, go to the Art Museam beside the Tivolio as it is free on Tuesday
Close to city hall for the wedding and at the start of the 1 mile walking shopping mall. Take bus 5a from the airport for 35 krone is much more scenic than a $350 krone taxi as the bus takes 35 minutes and winds its way to the hotel - like a free tour, just cheap. Take bus 5a back to the airport to get a second low cost city tour as well. Ascot hotel - sign up for the breakfast as it is a great deal. You'll regret if you do not

Pros: The location.
Location: Near to Tivoli Gardens, the City Square and the main railway station.
Quiet hotel. Room was comfortable and hotel was very conveniently located. Plenty of selection at breakfast buffet. The staff I met were very polite and helpful.

Excellent location, perfect hotel!

Posted Feb 7, 2017
Pros: Very clean, great location and super friendly staff.
Cons: nothing.
Location: It is close to central Copenhagen train station, several grocery stores, cafe's, a movie theatre, restaurants, and Tivoli Gardens.
I had booked this hotel because of a package deal that came with the flight. It looked decent from the photos, location seemed good, and the price was reasonable. We arrived into Copenhagen earlier than the check in time so we decided to just drop off our luggage and so sight see. We were very warmly greeted and attended to by a woman at the counter. She told us that because we had booked 5 nights and did it with enough notice to them, they decided to upgrade out room to an apartment suite and that the room was ready now (around 11am). What service! We walked over to our room and realized it is a fully furnished apartment that could fit an entire family! I'm not complaining. I love upgrades =) Super clean room, fully stocked and ready for us, impeccably clean, and the location was to die for. A block or so from grocery stores, the metro, movie theaters, cafe's and Tivoli gardens. I can't give this place anymore stars but I would if I had the option. I WILL be staying here again on my next trip to Copenhagen =)
