We stayed for a long weekend break. Staff very friendly, great position. Not too far from the center. Happy hour during the afternoon and free fresh fruit!

Great location and good value for money

We stayed for two nights in an economy semi double room. The bed was comfy and there was a wet room (instead of bathroom suite) but we expected this for the economy room. It was compact but perfect for a two night stay when we expected to be out most of the day. The hotel is tucked away down a side street but very well located. We did most of our sightseeing on foot and walked to the hotel when we arrived from a metro stop. We didn't opt for breakfast when we booked as we wanted to save money and also try local places but there was the option to still have it if you wanted. The hotel also offers 'cosy hour' 5-6pm where you can get a free glass of wine and have it in the lounge area. Again this is something we didn't do as we were out all day sightseeing but it's a nice touch by the hotel. Upon check out we kept our luggage in their store room as our flight wasn't until the afternoon. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay and I would stay again at this hotel.

This hotel was of the uppermost quality. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay relaxing, even inviting us to a cozy hour which was a lovely touch. The hotel itself was very hyggelig. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else if I were to visit Copenhagen again.

This is an attractive, relaxed hotel in a good location. Easy to walk to all the main sights. Round the corner from cafes and restaurants and shopping but hidden away so a haven of tranquility. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. The breakfast (extra) is delicious - good range of locally produced, season relevant, organic food. The rooms on the top floor (we had 416) are in the eaves. Beautifully appointed but on the small side. And I had to stand on tiptoe to open a window. Still lovely but I'd ask for a different room next time. Copenhagen is a fabulous city and Kong Arthur is a lovely hotel. Will definitely be back to stay.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the Kong Arthur. The staff were extremely friendly, the room and hotel was clean and there was a really friendly feel-good Danish vibe to the place. Cosy hour in the bar was an added bonus. It brought people together and many mingled by the fireplace. There was a great atmosphere . I would definitely recommend it to others and stay there again.

Good location to public transport and town core. There is the food hall nearby that's worth checking out! Good central location to norreport metro line.

Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They were particularly good at giving recommendations for places to eat and visit. The rooms are comfortable and have good bathroom facilities. The only negatives were that we had a room which had a family door that could be opened onto another room, and that we had a double bed made out of two singles so had an uncomfortable gap in the middle. The room next door was let to another guest and we could hear everything that went on (only affected us on final night). We didn't have the breakfast so cannot opine on that. The happy hour between 5-6 is an added bonus for a free glass of wine or beer. Location is very good. Right on the canal with easy access to norreport station and restaurants outside of the busy tourist area.

Pros: Cozy feel, friendly staff and very good breakfast.
Cons: No onsite food in the evening. They do room service from 3 local restaurants but the delivery charge makes this expensive.
Location: The markets are 2 streets away and do great food and drink, well worth a visit. Botanical gardens also in walking distance.
We stayed for 5 nights and had a very good experience. Great breakfast and very good comfy rooms. The cosy hour with a free drink at 5 is a great idea. Location is good too, near to all key sites but also not right in the centre.
