visita della città

Posted Sep 2, 2015

Convenient for visit to Danish friends.

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Convenient and adequate for our purposes.
Cons: A good basic hotel.
Location: See above
Have stayed there before - chosen for convenience of location close to friends where we went for dinner and for catching train the next day to a conference in Middelfart. Could walk to Central Station.

Rooms are the problem.

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Location, breakfast, staff.
Cons: Room too small and without amenities of storage or comfortable, large enough beds. Felt a lot like a prison cell.
Location: In a neighborhood with its own restaurants and businesses, linking to main streets of Copenhagen. Easy to bus or walk to many locations.
Arrived early a.m., prior to check-in time, but was taken care of. Staff were all very positive and helpful. Breakfasts were ample and fresh. Beds in our room were suitable only for children or small adults at best.

Not worth the price

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Location is decent, breakfast is okay, but the hotel is pretty outdated and low quality. The rooms are tiny and bathroom definitely isn't up to 3 star standards. Not worth the price!

Very pleasant hotel

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: The room, the staff, the building and the breakfast
Cons: As in any old hotel, there are aspects which could be improved with regard to decor and plumbing. But really nothing to complain about
Location: The location is good for Vesterbro and Fredericksburg -a short walk to beautiful gardens. No nearby metro station and bit of a walk from station
We stayed at the hotel because of its proximity to our daughter's apartment in Vesterbro . With a quiet courtyard facing room, pleasant staff and a great breakfast included in the price ,we were very happy with our stay.

Hübsches Hotel in Stadtnähe

Posted Aug 3, 2015

Good value for the price

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, breakfast
Cons: Closets in the rooms would be helpful.
Location: Walking distance to all major attractions, yet a little bit away from the downtown noise.
I was amazed how hard it is find a hotel room in Copenhagen that can accommodate a family of four and cost under $300 per night. This hotel fits the criteria. The only thing is that the traveler needs to come with the right expectation. Having some prior experience with Scandinavia, I suspected that comparing to the American hotels rooms in this one will be smaller and less decorated. So, this is what we got as a Family Room: completely white room with IKEA-like minimalistic furnishing, one bed of a size comparable to the American full size, plus two twin beds. Apparently, one extra bed was added to accommodate our request, thus leaving no space in the room at all. It was fine with us as we only returned to the hotel for a night sleep and two out of four were the kids under 10, but the space may be a little bit tight for four or even three adults. The beds were quite comfortable and bedding was of a decent quality. We stayed for four nights and the breakfast was absolutely identical, no variations, but offered good quality products and a good selection of breads and cold cuts. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Stayed for 3 nights while working at university. Asked for a vet small room which had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. Very comfortable bed. On elegant street with cafés and shops but not in touristy area.
