Perfect Location

Posted Feb 18, 2017
This was our third stay in s Radisson Blue hotel, the others having been in Sydney (2013) and Edinburgh (2015). This one also oozed class and excellence in a wonderfully understated way. The room was lovely: large, light and airy. Real windows that open. We were on the 6th with a great view. It's not a very large jotel and amazingly quiet but has 20 floors. Other guests say the view is great from further up. I suspect the hotel is quite new or newly refurbished. It's location in Copenhagen is perfect: 150m from the main station, at Tivoli corner and one block from the city's famous pedestrianised street.

Typically Scandi

Posted Jan 12, 2017
Pros: staff/service
Cons: see above
Location: plenty!
This hotel is well located and present nicely. The staff are nice too. So why only 4 stars? Maybe it's a personal thing but, although all Scandi-efficiency, I find it a bit soul-less. The rooms are reasonably good but lack warmth and are not in any way cosy. The bathrooms are tiny, the corridor ceilings too low and the TV has terrible reception/picture quality even for the woeful lack of choice there is. It feels like it's trying to be upscale except until you see the rooms - though this is by no means unusual.

New Year Break

Posted Jan 2, 2017
Pros: The Staff and being easy to explore Copenhagan from here.
Cons: Nothing all was good.
Location: Close to Tivoli shopping and sights of Copenhagan
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the staff were first class who looked after us so well. We had a corner room on the 15th floor which gave us great views and it was nice to be able to open the windows a little for fresh air. Would highly recommend this hotel to stay in if you are going to Copenhagan. Thank you all.

1970s cool, but needs some maintenance

Posted Dec 24, 2016 on Hotels
Everything is in a very authentic 70s style, which is kind of cool. However the couches and the carpets in our room seemed very old and really ought to be replaced. Similarly, they should take the time to thoroughly clean shower heads and faucets - seems like there is a lot of buildup in then. The location is superb, though, and I am quite sure we will be back

Weekend Christmas break in Copenhagen

Posted Dec 23, 2016
Pros: Location.
Cons: The lobby it was very cold and unwelcoming. Like an old fashioned station ticket office or a bank waiting for a receptionist was like being in a bank.
Location: Great Station and Tivoli gardens across the street access to street vendors at station.
The Hotel has seen better days and was a bit dated. The staff and breakfast were what I would expect for a hotel of this calibre. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay and visit with friends. The restaurant food was again what I would expect but the menu was limited. I expected more for the money we paid. I did not feel we got our monies worth. Disappointed over all no X factor!
