Stayed for one night June 28

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Pros: the clean rooms, complimentary breakfast, and the jetted tub.
Cons: All was pretty well up to date as far as I could see.
Location: Lots to do around as it's centred on Brunette and highway 1 that leads everywhere. I was on business myself.
Stayed for one night June 28 and I found the hotel to be exceptionally clean for a high volume traffic area. There was not any dust, dirt, or scratches to be found in the room. Sleep was great and the jetted tub was so relaxing I almost feel asleep in it! Staff was real nice and polite and came to hold the door open as I was coming in. At the complimentary breakfast the lady staff came over and chatted with me and I could see she wanted to be sure everything was ok. It certainly was as it was one of the better complimentary breakfasts I've had. I'll be staying again and will recommend it to everyone.

Great for weekend visit

Posted Jun 30, 2017
Pros: Free breakfast with a few different options.
Cons: Put sheets on that actually fit the bed. Lots of other visitors had the same complaint.
Location: A close walk (10 minutes at the very most) to the sky train. Lougheed Mall is a close drive or skytrain ride away.
Our family stayed here during our weekend visit to Vancouver. Seeking a pet friendly and affordable hotel that wasn't far from the city was no easy task but here I found exactly what I was looking for (minus the affordable part). For the most part hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was clean (although not until we removed our dog) so we can not complain about that but we did have a problem with the sheets being too small for the bed. Looking at other reviews I found out that we were not the only ones with this problem. It should be something the hotel considers fixing as soon as possible. Hotel staff didn't want to clean our room because our very friendly and elderly dog was left in there. I can understand why (if the lady had a bad experience with animals or its policy) but it truly is a lousy excuse when the dog is as well behaved as she is. One thing I noticed is that during most months of the year this hotel would be about a hundred dollars cheaper but I guess all hotels in Vancouver become deathly expensive during summer months. I felt ripped off because if it was indeed a hundred and fifty dollars as I would expect normally than I would be extremely happy with everything. The hotel staff for the most part were very friendly, our room was clean, and the breakfast was fine. I see nothing else to comment on.

Outdated facility

Posted Jun 27, 2017
The room smelled like dogs. Nice staff but the facilities were run down. Matress was very firm but lumpy. When we left the room at 9 a.m., we put the "please make up room" sign on the door. When we returned at 3 p.m., the room hadn't been cleaned yet. By the time housekeeping came at 3:45, we settled for changing out towels and getting a spare roll of toilet paper as there was only a small portion of a single roll in the bathroom. We will choose another hotel next stay.

Great hotel centrally located

Posted Jun 4, 2017
My room was very clean, staff friendly, great breakfast available in the morning. Literally seconds from the freeway, close to IKEA, shopping, restaurants. I will definitely stay here on my next trip into town!

Good location for road travelers.

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: It`s proximity to my end destination.
Cons: Better access points. Only one driveway. Updates on hotel renovations...they were redoing the lobby during my stay.
Location: Par 3 golf and highway connections to Downtown Vancouver or west to Surrey.
Located at Highway 1 and Lougheed Highways make it ideal for travelers passing through Coquitlam.

Under construction poor accommodation

Posted May 31, 2017
Under construction, main person at the lobby wouldn't let us late checkout with a $20/hr charge. Bed was not made properly. Hotel had a moist smell.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Aging carpet in room.
Good sleep and excellent staff. We had booked into a different hotel for two nights and checked out after one night due to a terrible, dirty room. We booked the Chelsea in the middle of the sleepless night, then arrived about 11 am to make sure it was Decent and clean. The friendly staff, appealing lobby, pleasant smells and clean, clean, clean room were such a relief. The staff were very sweet and let us in early and we totally enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was wonderful and pure bonus.

Good hotel for the price

Posted May 11, 2017
It was a good hotel for the price, pretty clean. The area was noisy but it did not impact any sleeping
