Pros: Location, free good breakfast and clean rooms.
Cons: Sheets are not long enough and exposed the mattress.
Location: Ikea is just steps away.
It was a convient location for us as it was just off the highway. Great staff and clean rooms.

Pros: Comfortable bed, nice room, very personable staff.
Cons: When we first entered the room the light above the entrance was burnt out and we found that the tub drained very slowly. The light was changed quickly
Location: Grandville Is., Lee Valley Tool
Hard to find the entrance. Good experience Breakfast was varied but not very tasty. Housekeeping staff was very nice and good.

Fairly cheap. Rooms are OK. Coffee is undrinkable.

Pros: Price.
Cons: Coffee would be #1. Heat control in room. Better TV signal.
Location: Good location, near where I wanted to be.
Stayed there a week. 3 am false fire alarm. 1 staff member. Did not tell anyone what was going on. Room wasn't that warm. No heat adjustment in room. Worst coffee I've had in some years. Breakfast was the usual low eend complimentary buffet. But I wasn't expecting more than a place to sleep and wash up. And it was relatively quiet except for New Year's Eve. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. TV was low res and cable (satellite) cut out quite a bit. Good access to the T-Can and Lougheed Hwy. plenty of parking, hotel wasn't full. OK for the price.

A nice hotel at a very reasonable price

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Pros: Was all good
Location: We stayed there after an evening at the Hard Rock Casino... A 10 minutes ride, just perfect....
Room was clean, service was great, we had room 201, in a quiet corner of the building.

Posted Dec 30, 2016
When I told them about the wifi they didn't care, they were remodeling and was noisy and dusty everywhere.

Hi, unfortunately it is our WiFi that is being upgraded. The work was to be completed before Christmas but it was a more challenging job than our initial assessment of the building. I apologize for any employee that may have seemed like they didnt care, i believe this was just poor communication on our part. Anyways we do hope to see you again and I will personally make sure that you feel well treated and better informed of anything happenimg at our hotel.

Well-kept motel surrounded by highways

Posted Dec 18, 2016
We needed a pet-friendly motel near New Westminster BC. BW Chelsea is located on a major road (Brunette) between 2 larger roads (Hwy 1 and Lougheed Highway), Surroundings not very walkable, especially on a cold and icy winter night. But the motel itself was well-maintained and clean, our room surprisingly quiet. Very good breakfast, OK fitness room, and a small outdoor pool in summer. Overall a good deal

good value for your money

Posted Dec 15, 2016
Pros: very affordable. compared with other properties in the area. close to shopping. easy access to highway 1
Cons: needs an upgrade
Location: Ikea, canadian tire, lots of large furniture shopping across the tracks. big lighting stores as well. close to gilford shopping center.
we stay at this hotel often when out in the coquitlam area. easy to access off highway 1. older building and really in the need of an upgrade. hallway has an musky smell but not in the rooms. staff is very accommodating and friendly. ikea and box stores very close by. lots of really good eating places close by. woody's bar has really good food close by.

We will be upgrading this winter. We have plans for the carpets to be changed. This should help in any musty odours. We will also keep on top of maintenance of the HVaC units, as this is also a cause. I agree about Woodys, its a nice neighbourhood pub! We hope to see you again in the New Year.

The only problem was with the television optically odd.
