Inside pool area was nice, exterior of hotel looks run down. The suites only had a/c in the living room part so bedrooms were extremely hot. It was so hot in the bedrooms could not sleep. They did have portable fans in each bedroom which didn't seem to help. The hotel also charges a daily parking fee, this is the first hotel I have stayed at that has had a parking charge. It was exspensive enough already without the parking charge. We had a party of five and asked for another pillow for the pull out bed and was told the bedrooms have enough. All in all extremely disappointed.

Had a great stay at the best western inn coquitlam for the victoria day long weekend. Facility is clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. Bistro in the hotel also delicious especially their breakfast items.

Hotel needs updating

I'm not used to hotels requiring credit over debit cards to check in. The clerk could not figure out how to split the deposit on one card and the room charge on another. The room was lacking electrical wall outlets. There are no elevators. The lounge staff was awesome, food and drinks above average and the common areas, pool and lobby ambiance was nice.
