Gorgeous hotel not near anything.Posted Dec 4, 2017
Pros: It was GORGEOUS!
Cons: A tiny breakfast or coffee maker in the room, and a mini bar refrigerator.
Location: In the middle of nowhere, and if you did not play tennis or gold, there was nothing to do.
Gorgeous top of the line hotel, but VERY expensive, and did NOT even include a tiny continental breakfast, AND no airport transfer--at these prices! If I had stayed at the Hyatt, I could have gotten an airport shuttle AND a breakfast included for much less. But this hotel has tennis courts and a beautiful golf course, neither of which I used -- not to mention its spa. For these amenities I was charged an additional (on top of a VERY high room rate) $22/day as a "resort charge". It is not near anything; it is its own little world. The mini bar charges $8 for a litre of bottled water, and NO refrig so you could buy something and put it in. I guess at the prices they charge the people who stay there just eat in their 2 restaurants. The event I was attending was there which is why I went out of my price range, but they DID have a complimentary car to take you to the nearest drug store in a little mall. But the room was gorgeous and I had a great time albeit an expensive one.

Old World Florida At Its Best!Posted Oct 29, 2017
Cons: I love to have the option of making a cup of coffee in my room. I've become accustomed to that offering and I missed it at the Biltmore.
I love staying at the Biltmore! It's so elegant and everything is so posh (especially the bedding). Everyone should stay there at least once. It's a place with so much history yet has all the modern amenities. The pool is amazing! The temperature in the rooms is hard to manage but it's part of the charm of the place.

A jewel in the GablesPosted Aug 30, 2017
Everything was great except for the noise level. On the weekends the halls and other rooms can be hosting very loud gatherings. On one night the noise didn't stop until after 5 am. The Biltmore is a jewel in Coral Gables. All the amenities are lovely and well maintained. Palme D'Or is simply amazing.

Elegant hotel with old-world ambiencePosted Aug 24, 2017
The Biltmore is a beautiful property with a congenial and solicitous staff and fine amenities. The pool is fabulous! The Biltmore compares favorably with highly rated hotels I've experienced in Southern Spain.

Elegant hotel close to University of MiamiPosted Aug 20, 2017
Pros: Upscale and comfortable. Bed good. Room spacious.
Cons: Palme d'Or restaurant, touted by staff as a 5 diamond restaurant that you've got to try is really AWEFUL!
Location: This is "UM's annex." If you have business at UM it's the place to stay!
Comfortable and convenient to UM. Staff and service great.
Classic Elegance in Miami.Posted Aug 20, 2017 on Hotels
The Biltmore is a classic, elegant facility. The service was impeccable and the rooms elegant. My only critique is that the beautiful elevators are arthritic and not befitting the rest of the property.
