The beds were not comfortable and seem rather smaller that normal size double bed. The microwave was dirty.

Nice Area

Let me start off by saying the staff was very pleasant , but for such a nice and high traffic area, the hotel needs a major renovation! The lobby smells antiquish and dated lobby furniture, my room appeared to be clean, but with everything being so dated, the room still felt dirty. Wood panels on the floor in the entry area of the room , sticky vinyl couch, electrical outlets with no face plates, freezer in the refrigerator was covered with built frost. On a good note, the pool was warm, breakfast was ok. If you must stay there, University Dr have tons of shops and wonderful places to eat! Enjoy!

Nice hotel

Pros: Everything else was nice
Cons: Be fair to your guests
Location: Everything as expected
Went down for coffee at 6am and asked for the TV to be changed to Fox News. Was told to be fair it had to stay on CNN(Clinton News Network). Several minutes later the night desk clerk came over and said that he would change the station for me but as soon as someone else came in he would have to put it back on CNN. So I ask, where is the fairness in this. A leftwing biased station (CNN) or a fair and balanced station (Fox News).

Pros: Closer to areas where I was working.
Cons: Lower rates at time when occupancy is not as high.
Location: very Good
Average hotel with minimal conveniences, cost varies from high to average.

We rate the experience A+. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were very courteous. The breakfast was great.. We loved the make-it-yourself waffles. The breakfast assistant was very attentive.

All I needed.

Stayed two nights for surgery (cataract). The staff were all great and helpful. Having good restaurants and shops I could walk to really was nice. Could do a little better with the free morning breakfast is the only suggestion.
