The staff were very accommodating, kind and knowledgeable. Our anniversery stay turned into a family staycation and they upgraded our room without knowing the change in our situation. It was very clean, comfortable for all of us. The only downside was the pool was out of service.

Location and staff was great. The room was a good size. The breakfast was good. No hot tub and the pool was small. didn't like that the hot water didn't work. We had to call maintenance to fix it which they did right away. When we turned the heat on it smelled.

Our stay was very quiet. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The only problem was a lack of blankets and difficult to control temp.

Enjoyed our suite with a view of the river. The hot tub had seen better days, but worked ok. The room had a fireplace, but we weren’t sure where to get wood, etc. Bed was comfortable, although they skimped on the pillows. Room needed another lamp. Still, would stay again for the price and convenient location.

I was very pleased with our stay! I had my doubts going in because there were some poor reviews but there were also some very good ones so I was counting on those. My fears were unnecessary.The hotel was very clean, up to date and the staff was wonderful. We were close to Carver Hawkeye Arena so getting there was fast. Our room (Dream Suite) had a large jacuzzi tub in it (separate from the bathroom), a king bed and a club chair seating area. TV was adjustable so you could watch it in the tub or even from the bed. Tub was a 2 person and felt wonderful after a cold day traveling. The room was quiet except for the usual hotel heater coming on and off. Bed was fine except too firm for us and that was the only negative. Not sure what other rooms have. Staff was courteous and gave us great service, even a coupon for Texas Roadhouse when we mentioned we were heading there. The breakfast area was clean although we didn't utilize it the next day. Coffee/tea/hot cocoa was available all the time (it was below zero all weekend so that was great). Needed extra pillows and staff was happy to accommodate us. Lots of places to eat in the area as well. We enjoyed our stay and the excellent service. The price point was amazing as well at $114! We will be back!

We stayed here for an Iowa Hawkeye sporting event, and it met our needs perfectly. The room was clean and comfortable. The light evening soup and sandwich was a surprising bonus. And just a short 0.5 mile walk to CHA. The complimentary breakfast was better than most. We will definitely stay here again.

Hair and pieces of toilet paper in bathroom upon arrival. Beds are hard and there was not enough pillows and towels for our stay. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend.

Nice place. I had 2 minor issues. The vending machine was an isdue as was in room tv. It worked, but channel lineup was crazy.
