Nice hotel, near major sites

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Pros: I liked walking into the lobby, full of plants and was a nice, cool welcome after hot summer days (tho the old gate can be made more user friendly).
Cons: The bed was a good size, but I prefer a more plush mattress and this was more than firm--it was pretty hard.
Location: The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and all the major sites.
I really enjoyed my visit to Cordoba and the staff and housekeeping made sure I was comfortable. The WiFi worked efficiently. I was there during summer, and the a/c worked really well. The bed was a little hard and the pool area needed to be spruced up, but overall a great experience. Plus, the breakfast was a nice way to start the day!

right in the centre

Pros: Its individuality
Cons: No lift if you need one - didn't bother us though
Location: Central - everything in Cordoba is close
comfortable room overlooking courtyard. Really friendly owner who made us feel at home. It is slightly quirky but we loved that - even get home made Seville marmalade which was just perfect. Even in 35 degree heat the courtyard with the plunge pool was cool and pleasant.

Great staff here! Super friendly and helpful. Manuel, the owner, was fantastic throughout our stay, as well. The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable.

Holiday with friends

Manuel and Maria were great, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Gorgeous setting with old tiled patio and plunge pool. Lovely boutique rooms in gorgeous colours. home made breads, preserves and marmalade in the mornings was a real treat and Manuel brews his own beer. Thank you for such a memorable stay we felt like we were staying in someone's family home.

Tasty Perro Flaco beer and a nice hotel

Posted Jul 5, 2017 on Hotels
Great hotel in a convenient location to downtown Cordoba and the Jewish quarter / Mezquita. The in-house beer, Perro Flaco, was also very tasty so try some if you're a beer drinker. The rooms and lobbed area were clean and well maintained and the service was very responsive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cordoba. My only gripe is that the wi-if was a little buggy (we needed to re-log in every 5 minutes or so) but this wasn't that big of a deal since we were trying to detach ourselves from the internet anyway while in Europe.

Lots of character close to everything

Posted May 23, 2017
Pros: The hotel had a lot of authentic Spanish charm and it was easy to navigate to must see sites and good restaurants from its location.
Location: It was within easy walking distance of the Alcazar and Mosque/Cathedral, as well as the wonderful winding streets of the Old city.
The staff were charming and very helpful and gave us great advice on what to see during our short stay. We got a free room upgrade and they let us store our luggage both on arrival and departure. The courtyard was charming and the rooms we're very clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful. The traditional Spanish breakfast was delicious. There were some good restaurants and shops nearby.

Lovely place in an interesting and quiet area not far from the main sights (10 minutes to Mezquita, less into Juderia) but also the interesting ordinary streets of the old town and only 5 minutes walk to the 'heart' of the new town. Not a 'flashy' hotel and amenities fairly limited (e.g. no kettle and no bar - though lots nearby) but had everything we needed. Good choice for breakfast (no hot options).
