The hotel seems to be In an isolated area when you arrive. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the river and the sites. Our room was a good size and very comfortable and clean even though it is dated and more traditional. We didn’t eat here, preferring to explore and find other restaurants. The only issue was the shower… there is no regulator and the water was changing from hot to cold so it had to be constantly adjusted. Two staff attended the desk while we were there and were able to speak some English. Overall a good hotel for a reasonable price.

The hotel is small and tucked away on a nice little plaza. You can go in any direction and find places to eat and things to do nearby.

Superb choice
The location is just away from the tourist hub so it is very peaceful. The excellent restaurant is open for lunch. My favourite was just sitting outside, overlooking the little plaza with a Roman statue and wall. The rooms were spotless. I would recommend to anyone.

The room was nice, with a pleasant outlook. It was central to all we wanted to walk too. The room however had its own electrical fuse box which made such a loud humming noise I had to turn it off overnight (which prevented charging of phones). Also, hot water lasted 90 seconds, both at night and in the morning.

Nice hotel for the money.
The Hotel is bang in the middle of everything you want to see. Very tricky to get your car there, so I parked in a 24 hour car park. The hotel looks like a nice old house renovated into a hotel. The walls are a bit thin, but with lovely interior.

For a one-star hotel, this was a comfortable and clean hotel. It's in a quiet and convenient location, walkable to all the sights in Old Town. Their restaurant is supposed to have good food, according to our taxi driver, but we didn't eat there.

A least it got me to leave the room more often...
It was one thing for my room to have absolutely no internet at all. What is truly unforgivable is the fact that I had ants all over my stuff and all over my bed, and the staff seemed unwilling to help me besides giving me a pesticide.

Thank you very much. Here we deliver the rooms to the clients without ants. It seems that those little animals travel with you in that huge backpack that you brought and surely put in bed.

Cozy little tavern with an old school hotel feel! Convenient proximity to the Mosque Cathedral. Only downside was that some of the rooms are beyond the range of their wifi service.

Amazing. Comfortable bed. Delicious food and vino. WiFi available in the hotel lobby only. Good water pressure, hot water. Clean bedroom, sheets and bathroom and towels.

Awful even if cheap.
A cold and super noisy room next to the kitchen where WiFi doesn’t reach. The incredibly noisy ventilation canceled sounds from the kitchen — but at the end I couldn’t sleep and got cold. Yes, it’s cheap and better than sleeping on street but.

Overall good.
Staff nice and accomodating in changing to nicer room when opened, let me use refrigerator and. mIcrowave in kitchen. Room ok sized. Only problem some TVs outdated so on some could not change language to original language of program.

I found the hotel very good. Central, clean, well managed, very interesting part of the city. An older building with character. Has wifi, TV (who would want to watch TV on vacation in Cordoba?), restaurant and bar. My stay was very enjoyable and I would stay there again.

Very nice hotel for the price - was difficult to find in the old city but that is true for many hotels in the old ciudad - reception staff were very helpful - breakfast was only 4 euros and coffee was excellent - very good value for the price!

Spectacular location, friendly staff
The hotel is very well placed and for it's price doesn't disappoint. The only let down was the very very limited breakfast, that was a let down. But otherwise, the place, the room, the staff were awesome. I highly recommend this place.

Hotel Plateros - Cordoba old-city
More like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, the owner was very engaged to help the guests, clean, comfortable, wi-fi, excellent location in historic old-city Cordoba, would definitely recommend.

This hotel is for those who are looking for a quality place with character, a perfect location, comfort and cleanliness. There aren't any frills but the location is unbeatable and in the heart of everything. The room we stayed in was small but clean and had everything we needed. The staff was pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful.

This hotel could have more to offer
We returned here because of the kindness shown to us during an earlier visit in 2009 and again this time in retrieving a lost bag.However our first night there was in an unheated room on an extremely cold night.We complained and were offered a heated room for our second and third nights. Our evening meal was very poor in a very cold bar. We had booked 2 months earlier.We would not return.

Small and simple
For me this the perfect little hotel. Small friendly unpretentious in a very quiet tiny plaza but near the main square, there were no frills but that is not what I want. A comfortable bed, decent heating system and good bathroom that is just fine for a reasonable price and helpful staffs all and simple

Beautiful, walk to everything, excellent staff
Beautiful family owned and run, cheery and helpful. Excellent food and location. Rooms are beautiful, spacious (mostly) and bright (but with clean curtains if you want it dark). I stayed in 3 different rooms because they were all booked out, yet they managed to squeeze me in. The only thing I could say against it is that in the first 2 rooms (a single one night and a double the next) the shower holder was broken so it was hand held shower only (but private bathrooms and very spacious with lovely large hand basins ... So definately not complaining for the price!). The last room (single room) I was lucky to get because because I couldn't find a room under 150€ for that Saturday night and I was about to leave cordoba. This room had a shower that I didn't have to hold (yay... Luxury), yet the bed was terrible ... Squeaky .... So any time I moved it woke me. However, the other beds were fantastic. The location, the bright clean rooms with large doors to verandah, the private bathrooms, hair dryer and wonderful family definitely make this the best hotel I've stayed at in Spain ... Especially for the price!

The hotel was ok but did not live up to other comments and ratings I had read. Our shower head holder was kept together with electrical tape and you had to leave the soap on the floor as a tray was missing. The location is very good and the price reasonable.

Small, clean hotel with nice rooms and bar area.
Single bedded refurbished room, clean with no odours. A little tricky to find the hotel at first but it was very conveniently situated for the historical part of Cordoba. Just room only and had breakfast in a little cafe overlooking the mezquita. Their bar was nice and had a few tables outside on their patio. I would stay here again and can recommend it.

The hotel was a little hard to find. We travelled by bus from the station and arrived on Calle San Fernando and got a little lost. A sign on that street would have been helpful. However, the hotel was fine - clean, comfortable and near all the main sights. We paid extra for continental breakfast the next morning and it was good. We were also able to leave our luggage there until the afternoon. We only had one night and a morning in Cordoba. Would go back to the hotel and to Cordoba. It was a lovely city and we didn't have enough time to see everything. We got up at 7.30 to visit the Mesquita at 8.30 on Sunday morning and it was so worth it. A wonderful atmospheric experience.
