Nice but, the location area is bad
The HJ is the HJ. If you have seen one you have seen all. So is everything you can expect and everything you know this hotel won't have. Confortable room, but old. Bathroom with strange smell. The spa, forguet it. There is no (real) spa. The staff, great all!!! They make the difference. The worst, the location. Dirty, old, no very frindly faces arround. Do I choose this hotel again in this city? No, maybe in other city. But no here.

Great Hotel location with great amenities.
Accommodating staff made exceptions to open pool/spa facilities area early. Front office personnel were friendly and helpful. Room was as described, comfortable and clean. Morning breakfast was satiating and served beyond hours.

If you want to stay in downtown Cordoba then this is probably one of the best around. Good location, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. Pool was small and could have used some upkeep.

Recently renovated. Comfortable and modern. Close to major pedestrian shopping area and short taxi ride to good dining. Concierge very helpful. Elevators went out for a short time

I travel to Cordoba often on business and have tried the Amerian, NH Panorama, Holiday Inn, and a few aparthotels. The HoJo is as close to a modern business hotel as you're going to get near the commercial center of town. Free wifi, breakfast was okay, dinners were actually pretty good, minimal gym, good service, and the location is very convenient to my office in Capitalinas and some local restaurants. The rooms are a bit run down (marks on the walls & carpets), but the sheets are clean and the interior design familiar to a business traveler. Definitely not as bare-boned as some other places in town. The walls, however, are really thin, especially if you have a shared inner door (I had to move rooms, but they staff were very accommodating about this). I think you have to set your expectations appropriately, and it will be an acceptable place to stay. I will likely return.
