Good 3* hotel

Posted Oct 21, 2016
Pros: Quiet location, right on the beach. Friendly staff. Rooms had everything you need - hairdryer, TV, good shower, balcony with patio furniture, mini-safe and even a fridge, but no tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with good selection.
Cons: Room floor was covered in hair even after being cleaned, every day! Rooms are fairly modern but a bit tatty in places.
Location: Great sandy beach 30 metres from hotel. Sunbeds and parasols for hire for 5 euros per day. Good restaurant next door to hotel. Bus stop 10 mins away.

27 degrees every day and quiet long beach

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: The location
Cons: bed sheets seemed to be coated with some sort of silicone
Location: other than beach walks the walk to Pelekas is a climb of 1700 feet!
Last week before closing ,tavernas closed but the very good and large independent Glyfada Beach Restaurant stayed open for only 2/3 tables per evening otherwise without a car we would have been stranded. They were great.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Posted Sep 22, 2016
Pros: Situated in a perfect spot. I would recommend a room with a sea view or you may well be looking at a rock wall from your balcony. Hotel was very clean
Cons: Boardwalk down to the beach is slippery and should be stepped and not sloped. Car parking around hotel is taken up by visitors to the resort.
Location: Very quiet and peaceful. Not much to do after 10pm so best to have a car and head to Pelekas where there are lots of Tavernas. Watersports on beach.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Adjoining restaurant good. Glyfada itself is a small resort with very limited bars & restaurants. I would recommend hiring a car as the nearest village Pelekas, isn't within walking distance especially at night. (The price of the car hire for 1 week was 10 Euros more than the hotel/airport return transfer). The beach is very close to the hotel and is lovely. The views driving around the island were amazing but the roads are in need of repair.

Would stay here again

Very nice clean quiet hotel with good friendly service + wifi range all the way to the beach and restaurant. Not a luxury hotel (pretty basic mattresses), but everything you need and close to the beach. Free breakfast with plenty of nice tasty options for almost any diet. Not much going on around the hotel, just mountains and beach and the restaurant. A few minute walk there one other Taverna and a mini market, so this place is for beautiful and quiet, not for happening/exciting. A car is kind of a must if you are staying w/here-plenty of parking (early Sep at least). Restaurant nice, decent options (we are vegetarian, but eat fish) w/great view on the beach - but a little pricey.

Nice, Clean Hotel and Friendly Staff

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness. Close to food and beach.
Cons: First level isn't a sea view.
Location: Green Bus stop within walking distance. A couple restaurants are within walking distance. Beach VERY close.
This hotel is excellent. Very clean, which I was so thankful for. It was advertised as a sea view, but there is only a tree view from the bottom floor, no bugs though. I would have loved to have been able to sit on the balcony in the mornings and look out at the sea, but my boyfriend didn't mind the tree view at all! The beach is literally a minute walk and there a very nice restaurant that over looks the beach too, I was able to sit and get my views from here. Beach is very clean and not crowded at all! You can walk down the beach to other restaurants and even a little convenience store. We loved this place and will definitely return!

Gylfada beach is very nice, restaurants are very nice however, the area gets pretty quiet after 9pm.
