Location is perfect for the non-driving traveller - near bus and train stations + walk to so many things in Cork. A good value too. This 19th century building, lovingly maintained, exudes the style and grace of a bygone era particularly public areas. Room was small but immaculate. The staff were ...
The bar staff were very friendly and helpful, facilities were brilliant! We opted for a late checkout so we could catch up on some sleep after the long drive from Dublin, to be woken by drilling starting at 8 am! I realise this is midweek and building work has to be done but there was no mention ...
First time staying in this hotel..stayed in Room 204. Very noisy from outside the window and the corridor. Television did not work. Decor a bit dated. Bar was nice and staff excellent, very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Taxi into town costs approx 9euro.
Easy walk to bars, shopping and restaurants. Hotel room was huge.No hot water - had to run the shower for 5 minutes to get warm water. Carpets had a few stains.I would stay here again for the value of the room.
A very plesent place to stay , every thing you need for a modern buisnes traveler. Nice reception with Table tennis and puting green.Comfortable modern bar / Restaurant. Good food and drink. Free wifi and all this a short walk from the airport terminal.
Hotel was bright and pleasant, staff excellent, bar food great. Beds and pillows not very comfortable though. It is situated outside the city centre and costs about 15 Euro for a taxi in. Don't be misled about the leisure facilities, they are not in the Hotel, they are in fact about 10 mins walk ...
Very comfortable hotel in a great location for touring the South/East/West. Breakfast buffet high quality, bed very comfortable and bar/restaurant facilities very good. The location on the outskirts of Cork meant we avoided the worst of city traffic. Only complaint was the lack of air conditioning ...
Hotel was very nice clean friendly staff the food was very nice it is close to local station and shops bars pubs
Great staff....very welcoming. The staff at breakfast could do with a little more instruction in welcoming or softening their manner to visitors....like "good morning" , "are you enjoying stay". The person we had seat us was very robotic.
The greeting on arrival was very friendly, the hotel itself was very modern with a great restaurant & bar. The quaint village of Bantry is an easy two minute walk from the Hotel. The car park is easy to miss - when approaching from the south, keep your eyes peeled for a gap in the wooden seaside wall ...
