The rooms were extremely dirty. We were moved from one room where the linens on the made bed were soiled including the bed skirts. In the next room there was something splattered on the walls alongside someone smearing their snot on the walls. The bathroom sink didn’t seem like it had been wiped out properly. The staff that was onsite were very friendly but they seemed to be short staffed.

Close to where I wanted to be. No room service for extended stay, beds unmade, no fresh bath towels etc. Shampoo dispenser as empty. Had to ask for a in the tub bathmat as tub was extremely slippery and unsafe.

The staff was pleasant and the property was quite clean. Even the bedding smelled of bleach which means it was actually washed! Great place to stay

I was in town to attend the Carolina Renaissance Festival. I had attended a few weeks previously, and stayed at a different hotel. I decided to treat myself to a nicer hotel this time, but I would have been happier at the prior accommodations. The room itself appeared nice, and it was nice to have a sofa, but there were issues. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and I had a great deal of trouble sleeping. The floor was dirty - I don't like wearing shoes, so I go barefoot indoors most of the time. My feet were black from the floors in the room. Also, the bath mat provided was threadbare. Another issue was the fact that I could hear every flush of the toilet and running of water from the room above. None of these issues were problematic enough to cause me to leave and try to find another hotel, though I feel there should be better oversight on housekeeping. On the good side, the coffee was excellent, and always hot in the morning! The breakfast was not to my liking, but it did seem to be varied. Overall, I was very disappointed, and I am not inclined to stay at this particular hotel again. I have stayed at other Comfort Inns in the past, and I know I will again, but I will give this one a pass.
This bathmat should never have been in use.

Day Trip
The first thing my daughter said when we walked in to the room was that it smelled good. We were comfortable in our beds, had a great night's sleep. Bathroom was great, especially the lighting. Some are so bright. I did step on a chicken wing bone by the bed. We did not have chicken wings. And if bacon could be a choice at breakfast that'd be perfect. Will definitely stay again.

It worked for our overnight stop on the way to Florida, just needed a place to sleep. Really pretty area and breakfast was decent. We normally stay at the Hampton inn but their pricing has gone through the roof!
