Needed a place to stay that was a walkable distance to the festival site. The Cove is ideal. Can't fault this place at all. Though will aim to get one of the ensuite rooms next year.
We have been staying at the Headland since 2003 and the hotel and staff have always exceeded expectations. We have also seen the continued investment in refurbishments and additions which make this hotel stand out. The staff couldn't be more friendly, efficient and trustworthy. We ate in both the ...
Nice sized room, family room had an adjoining room which we were not expecting, the walls and doors could do with a lick of paint. Just a little tired but fab location with a beautiful sea view.
Stayed with teenagers in 2 rooms, comfortable but very small, restaurant very American diner, so perfect for teenage boys, not really our cup of tea. Showers totally useless, no water pressure. On the whole, funky little hotel, awesome location, lovely staff. Would stay again.
Room a little on the small side, bathroom was outside the room upstairs, Nice generous breakfast, parking restrictive
Quaint guest house close to the beach. Service was great. Room had an amazing view of the ocean. Room was small, but for two it added to the charm and coziness. The location is great for seaside activities, walking distance to the center of town is approx. 1.5 miles.
We picked this hotel for its location which didn't disappoint, 10 mins walk from Fistral Bay beach and 5 mins from the centre of Newquay town. The hotel and room decor was dated and tired, in need of a refresh, the 3 star rating was accurate. No aircon in the room which made the drunken noisy revellers ...
Really excellent experience. Staff are really welcoming, efficient and laid back - nothing too much trouble. Food is excellent - both the breakfast and the dinner available (make sure you book!). Recommend the family room (if you're with kids) as the set up gives you separate space. If we find ourselves ...
We spent 5 days at the Carbis Bay Hotel, and we appreciated its very quiet atmosphere... The staff was so kind and did the best to make our stay nice and unforgettable. The decoration is elegant and the view on the sea fabulous!
Beach front hotel and self catering units are rarely as delightful as this establishment. Staff are few but capable and charming displaying highest standards of service of any hotel at any price. Rooms were basic yet not disagreeable so especially when considering the prices. Overall, an outstandingly ...
I stayed here for just one night in August with my husband and parents. The hotel is in an excellent location with stunning views of the beach from sea view rooms and from the restaurant and lounge. We were welcomed with complimentary drinks on arrival and, unusually, were taken through the check ...
Gyllyngvase beach is 5 minutes walk downhill. Railway station is 5 min walk. Town is 10 minutes walk - so it's in a great location - especially if you don't have a car & arrive by train. Lovely cafe on Gyllyngvase beach overlooking the sea - great for dinner. Owner was v friendly & recommended a ...
Absolutely beautiful, up-to-date hotel with wonderful amenities overlooking the beach. We especially enjoyed the easy access to the hotel's restaurant which serves excellent fish dishes.
