B&B with great viewsPosted Jun 29, 2017
It was no better than your average B&B and cooked b'fast was actually worse than average B&B. It is fine if you lower your expectations. Great views but you pay more than it is worth.

Nice hotel in beautiful location - lovely viewsPosted Jun 3, 2017
Pros: Lovely views and location. Good facilities and meal options.
Cons: Locating guests in rooms away from celebrations if not attending
Location: Lovely 5 minute walk into town. Pub beneath hotel. Boat trips from Price of Wales quay only 10 minutes walk away.
Nice hotel in beautiful location with harbour views and close to town. Staff very helpful and friendly. My single room was compact but pleasant, clean and well fitted. My only disappointment was the noise from the function room below - a disco taking place till just gone midnight and then the noise of staff clearing and cleaning the room until about 3am- needless to say I didn't sleep well! Perhaps guests not attending the functions should be provided with a room well away from the celebrations or at least advised of the likely noise issues before booking.

FaultlessPosted Apr 18, 2017 on Hotels
First time here in over 30 years and we mustn't leave it so long before returning. Absolutely everything was faultless. What's more the weather was wonderful over Easter giving fantastic views over the river.

Nice hotel. Close to Falmouth's restaurantsPosted Apr 16, 2017
We had a room facing the street and it was noisy. Windows are not double glazed. Room was clean. Lovely restaurant for breakfast and beautiful view looking across to Flushing.

Excellent location.Posted Apr 6, 2017
Pros: Location location, location.
Location is good and the room was satisfactory with bay window overlooking the estuary. The bathroom was slightly disappointing with some mould around the shower, which was really quite small and I am by no means large! There are 3 different restaurants within the hotel but it was quite difficult to get a seat in the main restaurant, the downstairs bar was very crowded, so we had to eat in the hotel bar with a very limited menu. The cost of 2 nights was I believe slightly excessive.

FalmouthPosted Apr 3, 2017 on Hotels
Room was nice but window opened right next to a busy road, no air con so needed window open, service was v. slow in the bar and lounge. Food for dinner was below average, ie. cheese and bacon missing from Cheese and bacon burger but nobody to sort it ! Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Falmouth town is an easy 5-10 mins walk but center isn't very nice.
Very happy visitorPosted Mar 31, 2017 on Hotels
A very nice hotel perfectly located at the harbour side but make sure you get a harbour view room or it's all for nothing. Rooms are large, spacious and very comfortable, only downside is the carpets throughout the hotel are really quite ragged and poor looking and in urgent need of an upgrade, everything else is top notch
