Very nice B&B in an excellent location.

Posted Oct 19, 2016
Pros: The facilities are wonderful. We stayed in the master suite which was beautiful and the en suite was a very high standard.
Location: Very close to The Eden project. We also visited Charlestown both nights we were there which is very close by.
Unfortunately there was no one there to meet us at the pre-arranged time and we were unable to get hold of the owners on the phone. This left us slightly worried but we went out to explore The Lost Gardens of Heligan as we had planned and received a phone call later that afternoon from Marian. When we arrived at The Little Grey Cottage that evening we were greeted by Marian who showed us around the cottage and our room and offered us tea and coffee. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the cottage is beautiful. We stayed for two nights and breakfast each morning was really lovely. Despite the initial worry we really enjoyed our stay.

Complete picture of ineffeciency and inadequacy on

Posted Aug 1, 2016 on Hotels
It did not take place due to your incompetence in failing to inform the owner that I needed a ground floor room because of mobility problems which led to them being unable to inform me that they had no ground floor rooms and therefore my being unable to stay there. This resulted in our having to cancel the accommodation. Also, due to your inadequate address detail this was not discovered, due to the difficulty in finding the place, until 5.00 pm in the afternoon, making it impossible to find any replacement accommodation. It is beyond relief that booked accommodation should fail to have passed on to it by yourselves vital information regarding a booking, a fact which was passed on to us by the owner of the accommodation who said she was never informed of the need for ground floor accommodation, merely that a double room was needed for 2 nights. Somebody somewhere is now required to refund the £145.54 cost of the booking and compensation for the disruption caused to my family in having to find us somewhere to sleep

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Eden Project - you get a discount if you walk there!
Chose this B&B as in walking distance to Eden Project. Very comfortable, friendly. Would definitely go again. When we arrived they had problems with water being cut off due to a burst pipe. This was sorted out quickly and efficiently.

Location: Perfect if your attending to go to the Eden Project. Close by.
Upon arrival we were met by our lovely hostess, and was made to feel very welcomed. A cuppa was on offer straight away. Our room was perfectly comfortabe and our ensuite was clean and well equiped. Breakfast was everything you needed before heading off for a day of exploring the beautiful Cornish area. Parking onsite ample and the grounds kept well. I would recommend for anyone with a car. We headed into Charlestown for a meal (upon recommendation) and went back for a second night.
