Cooking SmellsPosted Sep 3, 2015
All seemed fine, but our stay was spoiled by strong cooking smells from the kitchen which permeated the house.

Not a great experience at the Old VicaragePosted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel had permanent smell of damp/drains. Full English breakfast was large but poor quality and tasteless. Room was very large and bed comfortable. No wifi connection. Generally poor service.

Jederzeit gern wieder.

An idyllic place to stayPosted Apr 20, 2015 on Hotels
We went to Cornwall for a family wedding and were delighted to stay at The Old Vicarage. It is full of character, in a quiet and beautiful village. A very welcome reception on arrival and a most comfortable room, although the en suite would benefit from updating. Good breakfast.

Beautiful location and room. Highly recommended!Posted Mar 22, 2015 on Hotels
I stayed for two nights during the week and had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The suite was spacious and although the facilities were not new or modern, the room was elegant and felt luxurious! I felt very well looked after by the owners who were warm and friendly. The cooked breakfast was the best I have ever tasted. I will definitely be returning with my family; hopefully to do some riding next time!

Great B&B for the pricePosted Dec 31, 2014
We booked online and were pleasantly surprised about how spacious the room and bathroom were. The owners, John and Rosie, were very accommodating and made a great English breakfast each morning. You are close to Penzance and about 1 mile from the beach. We were there in the winter but can only imagine how great this place is in the summer. The room we stayed in (The Bishop Room) was very spacious and perfect for our 9 month old daughter to crawl around. Highly recommend!
