nice placePosted Nov 8, 2015
Pros: it had a bar
Location: lots to do, very interesting, sadly the cornish tourist people tend to over-price everything a lot.
enjoy our stay a lot but sadly all the tourist attractions and carparks are ridiculously overpriced.

Character, nice setting on village market squarePosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Food, beer, friendly staff.
Cons: Could do with some TLC, either deep cleanse/touch-up or refurb. High season prices don't reflect the quality, but more soul than chain generic hotel
Location: Buses are naff. Consider car hire. Else (I did!) do research bus times and maybe 1 or 3 day ticket as single journeys £4-5. Have taxi num for no shows
I just wanted a room for walking. It was fine for this and a nice local vibe, locals working in or drinking in the pub. Food was decent enough, couple of interesting options on the menu. WiFi is choppy, but 3G surprisingly good in the area overall (but some null signal areas).

I loved the village of St Just. Beautiful locationPosted Jul 17, 2015
Had a great time. My sad single room was lovely and the bed, which mysteriously changed one day, was comfortable. Discovered a lovely farmhouse for a cream tea in the St Just to St Ives road. Would go back like a shot!

poor wifiPosted Jul 9, 2014 on Hotels
the hotel is located in the backyard of a local pub. NO WIFI access in the room you have to move to the pub. Cups were uncleanly, others were fine.

EXCELLENT RAPPORT/QUALITE/PRIXPosted May 2, 2014 on Hotels

Ok for a walking holiday but a little isolatedPosted Sep 21, 2013 on Hotels
The Wellington is in a friendly, small little village but is a bit far out from anywhere. The only real bus connections are to Penzance in a fairly slow journey, so it's not great for exploring unless you are a serious hiker. Taxis are pretty expensive in this part of the world so you are dependent on buses. Breakfast is only served for one hour between 8 and 9 which is very restrictive. Ok, but pretty basic.
