Right on the harbour, very picturesque.

Pros: Very friendly & excellent breakfast.
Cons: Tried to contact them several times to check parking & finally got hold of someone at breakfast time.
Location: A visit to the Lost Gardens of Heligan is a must do !
A Sunday night, out of season so very limited choice for 'dinner', with Hotel Restaurant closing at 4pm.

Very friendly, but, WiFi could not connect in room. TV remote didn't work properly. Kettle kept turning itself off before it had boiled. Breakfast tables were very sticky.

The staff at The Wheel House were so very welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious and plentiful. There was no parking at the inn itself (you can drop off your luggage), but there was plenty of parking at The Willows car park just outside the village and a only short walk to The Wheel House. Driving in Mevagissy itself is a challenge as the roads are incredibly narrow, not enough room for a car and a bicycle to pass, let alone 2 cars, plus lots of pedestrians. Location is ideal - near the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan, and is an ideal place to tour from. The coastal path and other walks are easily accessible from the village and are idyllic but steep in places. There is a very reliable bus service to St Austell and Heligan.

A great stay in Mevagissey

This was the second time I have stayed in the cottage. The first time each room had a double bed but now there is a double and two singles. The first few mornings the breakfasts were not at the same standard as last year. The last day however was excellent. I think this was in direct correlation to the number of people staying. The property is perfectly located, lots of space and has all you could ever need. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

On the harbour looking out to sea, friendly staff and great food, nice room but very small bathroom, other than that all good.

Cheap and cheerful in a village.

Comfortable room with a very small ensuit. Brilliant views of the fishing port. Breakfast was great with a selection of food from the pub below. Wanted to stay an extra night but booked out.

The Wheel house is situated right on the Harbour , the staff are very friendly and helpful . Breakfast is excellent with a good choice . Parking is about 4 mins walk away , this is a 24 hr parking lot , we payed for the 3 days we stayed and were given a display ticket so we could come and go as we pleased . An ideal place to stay for a short break .
