Awesome B&B for first timers

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Steve is so attentive to his guest's needs, not to mention his awesome full course breakfast every morning. He went above and beyond when he made bus arrangements for us and even took time out of his busy day to drive us to the airport. I would recommend his B&B to everyone!! We made a new friendship!

thoughtful and comfy touches

Posted Oct 12, 2016
Location: The Molesworth Arms pub knocked our socks off! A gourmet meal prepared with local and in-season ingredients. Quaint village with scenic coastal views.
When we arrived we were greeted by a smiling Steve who proved to be very hospitable. He helped us with our bags and showed us to our rooms. The room was just as if we were in our own home; clean, very welcoming, warm and inviting. The towel warmer was much appreciated and there was a tea kettle with cups and butter cookies as a snack. Shortly after we settled in Steve was very thoughtful in that he asked if we wanted anything to drink. He immediately brought up milk and water and placed them in the refrigerator on the landing available to all guests. He told us where we could find restaurants within a three block walking distance and recommended a few. Breakfast was served between 8am-9am. If we wanted to eat earlier he was willing and able to accommodate us. The breakfast menu offered hot and cold options; a variety suitable to any guest's preference. Steve was waiter, cook and bottle washer. He served us a hot breakfast which he brought to us within 15 minutes of our order. My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer.

Best Hotel of our 15-day Holiday

Posted Oct 1, 2016
Pros: Immaculate room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Cheerful ambiance. Most friendly host. Satisfying breakfast.
Location: Good shops and restaurants in town. Very close to Padstow which is usually overrun by tourists.
This hotel is strongly recommended, we rated it the best hotel of our 15-day holiday in Devon and Cornwall.

Padstow room - Clean and tidy, though a little on the small size. Short walk to town centre. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Very friendly and helpful owner. We would definitely stay there again.
