We are extremely happy with Our stay.the owners kids are very accomodating.if you want to relax and juay enjoy the nature after a long hussle and bussle in your your and wanted a quiet plave away from everything.this place is the one.We loved it because yhey would ho ouy of their way just yo make sure youre okay..we had an early flight but they still served us breakfast...The food is excellent ...Good portions and super yummy....Thank you so much for uour warm hospitality...We will be back.

La Natura was like a hidden paradise. Well Maintained Beautiful flowering garden , beautiful bungalows/huts with coconut thatched roof , clean open area reception and dining area overlooking the pool, garden and the huts. Simple amenities inside the spacious huts with very nice traditional front porch made of bamboos. No phones, No A/C, nor hairdryer nor lotion. Simple breakfast ala cart breakfast menu with coffee or juice. Very nice Italian menu offerings for dinner or lunches. They also offered very nice bar cocktails selections made with local fruits which are super delicious. The proprietor was very nice, helpful and accommodating. She booked our excursions , tricycle rides to town & transportation from and to the airport and made follow up calls to ensure on time departure. Check out is smooth . All transactions are in cash only. I really appreciated the intimacy and personal touches . It was very stormy and rainy while we were visiting the island, so the dirt road was a mess leading to the Resort. The resort is a bit off from the main town proper, but transportation is available. Very nice neighborhood. Thank you La Natura for a very quiet , and nice stay. 🙏

Love love loved LaNatura! Cleanest nicest resort, so much beauty and attention to small details! The staff was AMAZING! My only complaint is that it is far from the town but the amazingness of the place makes up for it!

Very nice resort. Unfortunately, its out of nowhere, Not too many rides wnat to go there and they will charge you more which I understand. No place to walk to outside. Great if you want that isolation but i wouldn't come back.

Fantastic property to stay at in Coron. It’s a little bit out of town, but they make moving about very easy with taxi service. The owner, or at least the mother of the woman in charge was exceptionally helpful. Food was adequate drinks were plentiful and they made booking activities really, really easy. Recommended.

Was there to go wreck diving. The hotel is a bit outside, but you can easily reach the town by tricycle in 10 minutes. In the morning you get woken by roosters and other animals, but I guess that's what you can expect in that area. The bungalows were really nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the pool is clean and easy to access and the food they are serving is just delicious. Can really recommend to stay here, the only small disadvantage is that you can't just walk home from the city, but tricycles can be found everywhere.

The site of the hotel is about 3km from town centre. Use of tricycle to town on rough road. The menu is pricey compare to town centre. They don’t accept credit card only cash. I have already checked out ran after me on the shuttle bus and charged with the missing towel. It was unpleasant with that missing towel. They did not advice at the check in that they are going to charge for missing towels.

A unique resort in Coron, where we can get to sleep with the sounds of nature. Beautifully cared for, with exotic flowers, a place to relax and sleep, and swim in the large swimming-pool.

PARADISE IN THE FOREST
Wonderfully tranquil resort away from the bustle of Coron Town. Excellent service from the friendly staff. Very good food. Resort in a rainforest location (ideal for nature lovers) some 15 minutes on a bumpy unmade Road by tricycle. All adds to the fun, but could be tricky in rainy season and perhaps difficult for the elderly, infirm, very tall or obese (the tricycles are very small and you get thrown about).

I really liked the hotel and the accomdiations were very nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomdating. What should be noted that the Resort is away from the town. It is about 15-20 minute tricycle ride (75 pesos/person) from the town. Other than that it’s a nice hotel. Has a full menu of a variety types of dishes on the premise from Western, Asian and Italian type dishes. The room has no A/C (Air Con) it only has a ceiling fan that can keep the room cool. I would stay there since it is a little more “private”

The hotel has just 10 rooms in total, which makes it quite private and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated a bit out of town, on a bumpy road and accessible by Tricycle. Once in the hotel you’d think twice before going out because there’s nothing close to the hotel by walking distance. Also, the staff refers to pick up hour by a range of 30 min, which can be frustrating if you wait 30 min at the reception.

Nice quite retreat. No scene, no action. Very misleading location description - it may theoretically be close to town on a map, but this is in the middle of nowhere. Tricycles will take you here, but I would not stay here if you have any ambition to go to town at night for dinner or drinks. Very disconcerting long ride home in pitch black down unpaved unlit deserted road after dark. No A/C or internet in rooms. Attitude from reception girl was not appreciated, clearly used to receiving criticisms and was comfortable repeatedly claiming all was disclosed (it was not). Otherwise nice tranquil grounds if all you want to do is stay somewhere peaceful not near the water with nothing to do.

Dear guest, thank you for leaving this review. As I have calmly pointed it out at check in, after you rudely complained that the resort was not close to town, the location of the hotel is well pointed it out on the map (I wish I could post a screenshot of it) and written distances from point of interests are also present. Absence of air-condition system (also disclosed on our reservation page) is an eco-friendly choice that we made as the room temperature is cool at night and the large ceiling fan, the high ceiling and the large sliding door make the room well ventilated and fresh. I've taken note about the misleading information about the Wifi, which is indeed not present in the rooms but only in the public area, and contacted the website to remove that info. We wish you'd have stayed longer than a few hours so you'd have the time to fully appreciate the resort and the service offered. Best regards,

excellent, big, spacious - little far from town
Very nice resort some 3km from Coron town. One of the best pools I have ever found in a resort, even with a deep end. Surounded by by green gardens, a river on the side, viewing platforms, makes for a nice place for birdwatching etc. Access is via a dirt road, and there is little nearby other than shacks and lush forests, though they call a trike when you need to travel to town. The room was excellent, big and spacious, excellent modern bathrooms with hot shower, the resort is very environmentally friendly and accordingly asks guests to save on energy and resources. Wifi was turned off every night at 10pm, though found network unreliable throughout most of Palawan.

In the middle of the jungle with disgusting roads. Too far from the main road. Scary no lights on the road. No air conditioner. Management says wit free wifi but no wifi at all. If in case there is toooooo slow. Cannot make use of wifi at all. Too hot no AC. Very unconfortable staying there. Contracted bad drivers.

We really regret you didn't enjoy your stay for reasons that are unfortunately not under our control like the road condition (we are in the Philippines where most of the roads aren't paved) and wifi connection (it is a common problem we share, not only here in our Island but in the whole Philippines). The absence of AC is written in the hotel description as well as the location of the resort, I guess you didn't read it. Hopefully if you have the chance to pass by again, all these little things will be fixed and you'll enjoy your stay this time.

Peaceful stay off the beaten track.
This unsuspecting resort is a hidden gem. A bumpy ride, well off the beaten track, team all pilled on a trike, and we arrived at what was to be our favorite slice of nature in Coron. Coron town really isn't a winner, but La Natura is. For what we thought would be the budget choice of our trip, La Natura was an absolute steal and a pleasant surprise at every interaction. Hidden little bungalows up in the trees and over the river were an escape to relax and read in the hum of wildlife. Clean pool. Good food. The staff were a genuine pleasure and immensely helpful to our more creative whims and wishes while we were travel exhausted and severely sunburnt. There were no repetition of orders or language barriers and the staff were bright and logical, which facilitated a true relaxing holiday experience. Rent a scooter, or be ready for 15 minute trike rides to and from town.

Airport to resort 40 minuits going up a dirt track roads.200 peso each.way reception helpful.going to town 150 pesos can walk in hour.its a bit away from town .down dirt track roads. A bit more expensive to buy drinks etc than town breakfast reasonable nice pool side area

Wifi shuts down after 10pm. Also Wifi coverage does not cover any of the rooms and can only use it in the reception area. No air-con.
Thank you for your review! The exclusion of air-con in the room is well advertised in our website as well as on the booking website. As for the wifi, we have recently changed it to another provider, which has indeed improved the speed of our internet but has come with the downside of usage based charge, therefore we had to put a window time for the usage of the wifi. The staff were very helpful here, it felt like a family business, homely. Very quiet, location is further out from the centre, so you need to ask the hotel to organise a tricycle for you when you want to leave, either that or you can rent a scooter to get around. The food was delicious, so much so that we ate there almost everyday! It just took a long time to make so we preordered. Couldn't recommend it more. We stayed in Coron for 3 nights, which is more than enough I reckon. The only negatives were that there were a lot of mosquitos around, wish I bought an insect repellent, but sadly got bitten 6 times whilst I was there. The swimming pool was a little dirty with leaves and dirt floating on it, but guess that can't be helped with having a tree just above it, other than that we loved our stay there. Oh and wifi isn't very good there, so I suggest buying your own.

Relaxing hotel - highly recommended!
We stayed at La Natura for 4 nights in Nov 2015. If you don't want to stay amongst the hustle and bustle of Coron town then this is the place to stay! La Natura is small and cosy but with all the amenities you would need. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They always made sure we had fresh, cold drinking water when we arrived back at the hotel from a day out. Although the hotel is about 15 mins from town they make it very easy for guests to get to and from town by organising tricycles. The food there was lovely and it was nice and relaxing just taking it easy by the pool. We highly recommend this resort for people staying in Coron!

Originally booked this resort for two days but ended up staying for 6. Small boutique resort with only 10 rooms but great staff and service. The food was incredibly good and there was a lot of variety. I took advantage of the pool, reading area and meditation area. I took a few pics from the river platform and the treehouse. A little far out but if you like to walk, it's about 45 minute walk to town. 15 minutes by tricycle.

Stayed there for couple of nights. The place is very friendly - boutique style. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the center: about 20 minutes by tricycle for PHP150. Recommended!

We did not inform the resort about our arrival time. Bad decision. Because no vans would take me and my fiance from the airport because the road to the resort was not good. After waiting about 30 mins, I finally called the resort and they were able to send a van to pick us up. The staff are very welcoming and treated us very well from the time we entered their premises. I was a bit disappointed that the resort did not have wifi access in room which I believed was not mentioned during the booking. We had to go to the reception to get a working connection. Room was clean and organized well but I was disappointed not to have a electric plug-in for charging phone near the bed or anywhere except at the corner under the tv set near the door. The food options were great and I would say that the portions were very generous and delicious. It was overall a great stay but it was far from the town and far from the airport. Most people visiting Coron stayed somewhere in the town or close to it and I would have done the same if I knew the real distance from the rest to the locality.

Above average resort
Of all the places we stayed at on Palawan and Busuanga, this has to be the most impressive. Although travel to the location involves a very bumpy (and costly, depending on how often you go to town) 10-15 ride, we were very happy with the look of the resort. Impeccably landscaped (plants, flowers, grass) and beautifully designed resort. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cost of a full body massage (650 pesos), laundry (400 pesos for 3 kg), and food was a bit more than other places. The food offered was better than decent, although a bit overpriced (320 pesos for hummus!). Overall, would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing, quiet vacation.

This boutique resort is a quiet place to stay where you can really relax after exploring the islands by boat. They have 10 high-ceiling, native-inspired huts that open to a beautifully landscaped garden. There's a small pool and jacuzzi, a tree platform (can't call it a house), and a lounge area with magazines. If you like bodies of water, like my kids do, you can go out a small gate to a creek that runs around the area and get a free fish spa. It's a lovely place. But what makes it even better is what you can't see in the photos which is the excellent service of the staff. This resort was put together with just the right touch. Two thumbs up!

We had a lovely stay for 3 nights in October 2014. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is about a 20 minute taxi ride outside the main area of Coron town (150 php one way). The road getting there can be quite rough, but once you are inside La Natura it's peaceful and beautiful. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice Italian/Filipino family own and manage this place. The food is sincerely the best in town. Both, Filipino food and Italian food. Dont order too much, the servings are Italian family style. you will not go hungry at this place. I found this place to be properly priced and an excellent bang for your money. It is not fancy, but it is not bad. Its a nice clean place with bungalows in the middle of the jungle. Excellent place to really live up to the experience of Coron. IF you like Diamond star hotels, this is not it, but if you like normal great value, clean and comfortable place. YOu cannot beat this place.

The resort was a bit off the beaten track and if you don't like bugs then it's not for you, but apart from that it's hard to fault it. The staff were excellent & nothing was too much trouble. First impressions are that the food seems expensive until you realise that, apart from the solo dishes, they are all good for two persons. Overall a lovely stay.
