Easy 5 minute walk to the beach or 1 minute drive

Pros: What I liked most of this hotel was its approximate distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants and friendly hotel staff.
Cons: The tv and its remote were impossible to work. We twice had to ask for help regarding this. The phone was another issue, but it was also taken care of
Location: The hotel was on the what I would call the strip. Lots of shopping and eating places within a mile. USS Lexington and CC Aquarium both were near by.
The hotel is old and in desperate need of complete face lift. However, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They addressed any complaints we had with a smile and corrected any issues we had. Since we booked at the last minute this was the only hotel with rooms available on the days we wanted. It wasn't a five star hotel, but, like I stated earlier, the hotel staff's friendliness and polite manner made it seem like a five star! Breakfast was quite adequate with choices of cereal, muffins, toast, waffles, hot oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, milk, juices and fruit. The pool was small but clean.

Never again!!!!

When I walked the room smelled like mold ...i lifted top blanket top sheets were stained and pillow case as well...at night while slept my nose felt stuffed up from breathing the mold ...i ask to get a refund .front desk said I couldn't..cherrios thrown in lobby from whrn I checked in .were still in the same place the next morning.orange machine tasted bad...table were very dirty in the eating area ...and the hotel didn't look nothing the way it looks on line......

Less than great

I always check the sheets and pillows for mess and bugs. And unfortunately we found 2 bugs under the pillow of one of the beds. When we asked for more towels we had to go downstairs and grab them and they were purple towels, not white like the rest of the towels or like a normal hotel. When checking out faced a language barrier with a staff member, she didn't understand we were trying to check out

You get what you pay for

Pros: Location
Cons: Clean the carpets, put fresh linen on all beds, and stop letting drug addicts ruin your facility.
Location: Right off North Beach Corpus Christi. Plenty of things to do, but fishing is what i do.
Nasty and most unpleasant. The carpet is all deteriorated and sheets smelled like they were they`re being reused over and over again. Never again. Won`t be fooled by cheap hotel prices again.

Nice room close to beach away from traffic

Pros: close to beach
Cons: breakfast
Location: aquirium, lexington, fishing dock.
We had a water side room and veiw was nice. 12-6am elevater off not convenient (i am disabled) We spent alot of time on the beach at night and using stairs was rough. The staff was very helpful. there was a problem with expedia and was charged twice owner advised me how to handle expedia less then helpful weekly rates good but at @149 plus tax (my opinion) was not worth it/ I felt safe, the beach was about 300 feet away from front door.
