The hotel staff was excellent. They were friendly and efficient. Pool was handicap accessible. There was a chair lift for entering and exiting the pool. Hotel approximately 10 minutes from beach and mall. Food close by.

Worst Experience Ever

Our stay was very disgusting. One of the beds had a huge smelly yellow stain on the sheets. It was reported to the front desk attendant but unfortunately she couldn't transfer us to another room, the hotel was oversold for that night and she was the only employee on duty for the night shift. My husband after spending over one hour on the phone with our booker was told that they were trying to comp our stay for that night. While he was on the phone he sent an email to the hotel Manager to make her aware of that situation but she never replied to it. We couldn't sleep that night and had to cancel a fishing trip for early the next morning. Overall the worst experience ever.

Very dillapidated. Stayed at la quinta's elsewhere with great experience. Room smelled musty--very outdated and worn interior. Suggest they put a little money into upkeep. Great staff--but I'm sure they hear their fair share of complaints.

Don't bother--cheap but still not worth the price!

This is a really old hotel that has not been updated. I'd say you get what you pay for but I'd just come from a stay at a la Quinta in Phoenix which was about the same price yet totally newly updated. The worst thing was the smell. Opening the room it was a blast of mildew smell. Old worn carpet. Bedding was outdated as was the bathroom fixtures. There should be some continuity in hotels that are affiliated with a chain.

disappointed

Everything would have been great except that the ac in one of our rooms was not working. very hot and staff only offered a $25 discount... when maintenance man went by, he claimed the room should not have been available for rent since it was already scheduled to be fixed...

Pros: the front staff girls were very nice and understanding. This was the only thing we liked.
Cons: The entire hotel needs an over haul
We checked into the La Quinta expecting a clean room. The first room they sent us too someone had been in and wasn't clean. The sheets were pulled down and there was garbage left behind. On the second room they sent us to the first thing we noticed was the smell of the room which hit us when we walked in. The carpet was old and badly stained, the furniture was old and in need of repair. The a/c made the room smell even worse and is probably from the mold growing on it outside the window. The bathroom wasn't clean there was something on the toilet not sure what. I pulled the sheets down to look at the bed and I am not sure they were clean, there was no mattress cover under the fitted sheet and the fitted sheet wasn't tight like a fresh made bed should be. The bedding was stiff and I didn't even feel comfortable taking my shoes off and walking on the carpet it was so gross. We checked out after 15 minutes and went and checked into the Holiday Inn Express. When we checked out there was another customer complaining that his room was also dirty and said this was the third one they were putting him in. There was blond hairs on the sheets-he and his girlfriend both have black, he also was not happy.
