Good Location But In Need Of Massive Upgrade

Great location to the beach but the hotel needs an upgrade. The carpet in the room was so dirty we had to wear socks the entire time when we were awake but took them off to sleep. Massive cleaning and upgrade needed!

Would recommend for the price!

Pros: Friendly Staff, cleanliness, quietness
Cons: Parking lot monitoring
Location: Beach, Shopping, Museum
Came here for residency interview, has private beach access, clean rooms, nice view. Very quiet rooms.

We would of ended our stay after second day!

We were told we could NOT get out of our reservation because it was through Expedia aka third party. I will not do this again. We were not happy about having to stay! Elevator was out most of the time, and bathroom wasn't clean. Thank you

Dirty balcony door wouldn' latch

Great Location and Getaway

Location: Right on the Well kept beach and Lexington.
Had no issues with the Hotel. Great location will return again when I need a get away.

It was great, just don't like how they only clean the rooms every two days

Pros: close to the water
Cons: Knock it down and rebuild.
Location: Great proximity to USS Lexington
Nice view of the ocean from the room, but the room was dated with graffiti on the mirror, horribly dirty carpets and a bathroom one didn't want to spend time in.

Somewhat Disappointed

Pros: The closeness to attractions. Location was great! Staff was friendly enough. The view from the restaurant and the bar was beautiful.
Cons: Carpet in room was worn and not too clean. A few of the ceiling tiles were browned circled. When we scheduled we thought we were to be bayside and we were standard side. Being standard side was sort of noisy. There was a motorcycle event going on in town. (I know this was beyond the hotels control). The room had a damp feeling to it. The restaurant and bar were way overpriced.
Location: Location was great! Within walking distance of the USS Lexington. Not far from the Texas State Aquarium.

Uncomfortable bed

The bed is hard and the pillows to soft I had to stack them to be able to sleep on them. The staff was very good. I booked online so we didn't get a water view, which we wanted. The lady at The desk told me that when you book online that is usually what happens. The beach being right there was great. But if we go back we will probably try a different hotel.
