Excellently located hotel very close to the port and main commercial area. Within walking distance of the citadel which is well worth a visit. Our room was very spacious but had a musty smell on arrival which dissipated once we opened the window. It also had the bed and bathroom up a spiral staircase which was not a problem for us but may be an issue if you are not as agile. Not air conditioned but had fans both in living area and bedroom. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Outdated Rooms in a Good Location

Posted Aug 22, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel was very expensive for the quality received. The room itself was very outdated and needs significant upgrades for the price. The bed was very old and uncomfortable. The bathroom needs to be renovated and is outdated. There were not enough outlets in the room and no outlets at all by the sleeping area. There was very bad ventilation and only one small fan by the bed. Most of the hotel staff do not speak any other language other than French. When they are working there are a couple of very helpful staff members who gave us good information about hiking in the area and also restaurant recommendations. However, most of the other staff members were very unhelpful. Overall, the location of the hotel is great and the room setup has a lot of potential but the hotel room needs significant upgrades to make it anywhere near worth the price. They also need to ensure that the staff working, even in the evening, has at least a couple of simple words (e.g. "checkout") in a language other than French.

Highly recommended

In an excellent location right on the leisure port, close to the many bars, restaurants and shops on the other side of the harbour, but far enough away to not be much affected by any noise from them. Free parking a real bonus. The rooms are kept very clean and the beds (king size) were comfortable. Good, free Wi-Fi in the room. Breakfast is cold buffet style in a light, airy, room or, better, on the terrace facing the harbour. There’s no restaurant - hardly needed with dozens along the seafront within easy walking distance. Friendly and welcoming.

Bathroom very disappointing. Half ripped shower curtain & tiny shower with mould. On website describes rooms as having a mini bar, there is no such thing.

Great location in Bonifacio.

Excellent location and very comfortable bed. However, the air conditioning was inefficient and we had to rely on a noisy oscillating fan.

Strange hotel in prime location

Ideal Bonifaccio location with fantastic views. Close to many restaurants in the port. Hotel itself has no public area, and odd, inconvenient 2 story rooms. Bed and bath are upstairs. Tiny, inadequate A?C unit cools part of the downstairs. Upstairs, it is VERY HOT in the bed and bath--impossible to sleep--one of us slept on the couch downstairs to get cooler. ONE electrical outlet upstairs. one tiny fan does not do the job. If you need the outlet for medical equipment (as we did), you must unplug the fan. The TV is high on the wall near the circular stairway, 25 feet from the viewer in bed--hard to see. Drapes do not block the intense AM sun, waking those sensitive to light. OK breakfast. Free parking. Hard to recommend this place, overall.

We had two rooms joined by a doorway, both had ensuite, both were tastefully decorated, one was on a loft which was different but nice. A spiral staircase down to a sitting room which had a door leading out to a courtyard. Something different from a single room accommodation. Great location, right on the water. Helpful staff, whether helping with directions or selecting from the menu. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location, but a little bit expensive

Posted May 15, 2015 on Hotels
Great location, near the harbor, a little supermarket & all of the restaurants. I had a harbor-view room, which was beautiful to wake up to every morning. But for how expensive it was, you had to enter your password and id code every time you used the wifi. And for the price, I would've thought breakfast would be included, but it's an extra cost

Great location overlooking harbour

Posted Oct 21, 2014
We were there in mid-October so out of the main tourist season. Very nice hotel. We had a great room overlooking the harbour. It could be a little noisy with all the motorscooters etc. buzzing around but it was worth it for the view. Friendly staff. Didn't eat at the hotel but many others did and it is highly recommended albeit a little more expensive than others eating places around. Would definitely stay there again.
