The “remodeled” rooms were clean, however there was a lot left to be desired at this property. It looked as though they only rent a few rooms on the bottom floor and people permanently live in rest of the complex above and around. The floor above is quiet noisy when the tenants move around. The check-in staff were friendly, however they lack in staffing an actual “breakfast” included. There were waffles you could make and coffee, that was about it. There were containers for cereal that were empty and nothing else to consume.

Thank you for staying, we're sorry your experience wasn't as pleasurable as we hoped. We are still working on updating the property, as it does take time. Yes, we have weekly guests that we accommodate as well as nightly guest. As with most any 2 story housing complex, the bottom floor has the unpleasure of the top floor tenants, we do ask all guests to be respectful and considerate of other guests, unfortunately we can't control guests beyond that. Our Breakfast is a simple help yourself cereal/ waffle breakfast that we serve only on the weeknds, now that we have entered the fall season. We apologize if you felt mislead or unaware prior your visit. We will be working to address the issues we have to better a future visit. Hope to see you again.

This hotel goes by at least four names.
The continental breakfast was not available for my stay. Hello breakfast room had been closed off and barricaded with caution tape. There was a sign up that said we are now only serving breakfast on the weekends, there was none available Sunday. There is a fresh coat of paint outside the building and inside the rooms with new flooring. The subflooring squeaks when you walk across the floor. The asphalt parking lot has deteriorated and the striping for the parking stalls are barely visible and running in two different direction. The concrete steps on the staircase are falling apart. The coin laundry has a few machines that are not working and the laundry room is behind too old vehicles. The ice is rationed out in Sandwich size Ziploc bags. There are a few new cameras in the parking lot that give you some peace of mind. The hotel signs have three different names on them none of which is Road Runner Inn.

The price was right, just needed a place to stay close to the airport. I realize they are still renovating rooms, mine was nice and included a refrigerator/microwave (wood floor needed sweeping). Perhaps they should spend a little on room numbers for the doors instead of what they currently have. The staff was pleasant and friendly.

The motel had a different name so i had trouble locating it. After checking in and go to the room, noticed there was no towels. I tried calling using the room phone and my cell phone without success. I walked to front desk n used the outdoor afterhours phone. Spoke to someone who said they would send some. Be i got a washer and 2 old smaller size towels. But the room was clean.

It honestly was like a drug motel. It felt unsafe and was so nasty we neither one took a shower, My niece found part of a glass bowl from a pipe IN HER BED! I’ve been traveling 50 years it was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

FANTASTIC DEAL, GREAT VALUE!
We booked that room few minutes before showing up. We enjoy our stay, specially for the price we paid... we totally received more than we paid for. Facts about the place: - they have an old sign with a different name ( no this place is going to be crappy” The guy in the front desk was nice, we weren’t expecting much for how the place looked and all the different signs, however once we got into the room we were shocked... for good. The room was big and and clean with extra shampoo, soap, toilet paper, tissue paper, AC, TV and even a mini fridge. We stayed at Motel 6 the night before in other city and paid more and didn’t even have shampoo or the mini fridge. This Logde has a lot of rooms, even pool and includes breakfast. In general, you get way more for the tiny price you pay and the people there is nice and friendly... one really nice thing of this place is the Check in time, you go and check in whenever you walk in. They don’t make you wait until 3pm or so, SO I TOTALLY RECOMMEND this place if you needn’t to book a last minute room or have low budget and you are hoping for a nice cheap clean place, this is the right place to go!

Don't take my room!
If I give it a 1-star rating, it's just because I want to keep it undiscovered. This place is a gem, and for the published price is a excellent option for families traveling through the area. The rooms have recently been renovated, and while the beds were a little too firm for my liking, supported a good night's sleep. The breakfast is a little sparse, but I wasn't paying for a gourmet omelet bar...

Needs a little work...
We've stayed at this hotel about a dozen times over the last 20 years (and with a few different owners, I think). It's always bit dated but clean, quiet and functional especially when we're going to or from a mountain camping trip. And they welcome our dogs. This time, we were assigned a room that had been "remodeled". It looked good but was not functional. There was a 2 inch gap under the door which probably contributed to its being more noisy. The towel rack was falling out of the wall. The t.p. holder was broken. The shower ran out of hot water(!) -- and we don't take long showers. There was no in-room coffee, nor was coffee available in the office. The on-site restaurant was no longer open for breakfast so no coffee (or breakfast) there either. It's still a pretty good value but we were disappointed on this visit.

I left. I actually didn't stay at this place. I drove in and was pretty alarmed at the state of the facility. There were old sinks on the landing and the cars looked like they hadn't moved in months. Bags of trash around. I didn't stay.

The ac had an energy saver so you couldn’t get the room to cool down. The heated pool didn’t feel heated. The room looked like it was falling apart. The shower made a horrible sound when you used it. The beds were hard as a rock.

DO NO STAY HERE
This place was dirty and very creepy. I did not feel safe. I did not feel like my vehicle was safe. There were questionable people everywhere. We had 2 rooms and one was "ok" and the other we had switched 4 times. 2 rooms were excessively dirty, one room had people in it, and the third had a disgusting smell. We decided to leave and stay elsewhere. We lost our money, but the safety of my family and belongings is far more important than saving a couple bucks. If you can stay somewhere else, do so. This is the type of motel where guys would bring prostitutes, and drug deals are done. Very dirty, very creepy.

Not so happy the room was not in that great of shape. The pool had ice cold water in it so you could not enjoy it. Around the pool area at cracks and missing pieces of brick.

Fortunately we only stayed for one night. The room was not clean. The bathroom was disgusting, and we chose not to shower there. We tried not to touch anything and had kept our shoes on when walking about.

Advertized an awesome pool and gym. Pool water was low and didn't look like the pictures. Gym was shut down for repairs and staff didn't have a projected date to when it would be fixed. Breakfast was mini waffles, old cereal and sour milk.

Pillowcase with stain, advertised $49 a night on the sign and yet charged $75 night from the site. Not worth a dime. Totally disgusting room.

I was checked in in less than 5 minutes, couldn't get on with fi at first but the person at the front desk reset it and there were no problems after that. The room smelled and looked clean. There were several old cigarette burns on the bathroom counter but I couldn't smell any smoke. Beds are firm with good pillows

Just outside Mesa Verde National Park
The location was perfect. There was actually a working pool (seems to be a hard thing to find in Colorado). Staff was friendly. Small selection but breakfast wasn't bad.

Nasty place! Seems this has mainly been converted to a homeless shelter. That is not a bad thing - to repurpose old hotels for that, but, they should not also be listed for travelers. Avoid it!

WORST HOTEL EVER!
The room smelled like raw sewage. I got bit by spiders, the room was filthy, and the staff was rude! I stayed for 2 days (after switching rooms to another horrible room) and left early after that. They wouldn't refund my money. They didn't give me the room I paid for. There were several people living at the hotel. I'm pretty sure most of them were on drugs!

There is no breakfast. I requested a non-smoking room but all the linen smelled of smoke. It was quiet. The beds were uncomfortable, I woke up every time my husband moved at night and I'm not a light sleeper. The diner next door was closed, I settled for Arby's for coffee. The TV screen was tinier than my computer screen at home. I could hear my neighbors. Will not be here again.
