Just don't

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Is this a place to sleep? Yes. Will the unidentifiable smell wake you up a couple of time during the night and make you lay awake pondering what the possible origin of the stink could be? Definitely. Will the towels dry you off after the shower? Yup. Will you wonder if they are clean or if the maids just folded up what was left on the floor from the last guest. Yup again. There is a sticky film on the floor, the air conditioner has a volume of a 1968 Chrysler and the breakfast is a definite skip. Just don't go here. Pay the extra $30, go someplace clean.

Nice hotel close to where we were going.

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Pros: None.
Cons: Laundry facilities could be improved as well as the amount of towels for the pool.
Location: Very close to Mesa Verde.
Stain on the floor not properly cleaned. Shower head was dirty.

Plain and simple

Posted May 1, 2017
Pros: See Above
Cons: Maintenance and breakfast.
Not many frills, bells, whistles of fun, But you don;t have to pay for those and not use them. Great place for a stopover. Stores & shops, and services close. t

Room was ok but when we walked not ok with smell

Posted Apr 29, 2017
Pros: It was in a convenient location
Room looked ok but when we walked in we noticed a smell. The longer we were in the more prominent the smell, First thought animals had stayed with owners and they had sprayed carpet/furniture. Left for dinner and when we came back the smell would knock you down. Not sure if sewer line broken or what. Complained to management and they did move us to room next door. When we checked out next morning, we mentioned to current staff on hand and felt like they just wrote us off as complainers. Told them they needed to go down and just open door and smell - they had big problems. Don't think I will stay at another Econo Lodge - not a pleasant experience anytime I have stayed there. Have learned my lesson!
