Good location, friendly stuff but the room was ..

The stuff was friendly and helpful. We even got a small breakfast in the morning. But sadly the room was not clean and everything looked old and used.

clean, good price, close to shops

Room was small but for $50 after tax you can't complain. You can tell from the outside its an old building. Room was clean but just needs remodeled. Room came with microwave, fridge, cable and free wifi. Staff was very nice and helpful with info about town.

Old but clean.

Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Working smoke detector and clean up plaster after remodeling.
Location: Saturday morning Farmer's market, Notah Dineh Trading Post, Indian Dances at the cultural center all walking distance, close dining.
Possibly the motel is undergoing renovations. The door was sticking and has large gap under it. There was no working smoke detector. I had to program the TV remote as it was left in the room with the instruction sheet (LOL). The room was clean, the bed comfortable, TV, microwave and mini fridge all in good working condition. The staff was very attentive. I booked online so was not sure what to expect. It is one of the oldest motels in Cortez and that is obvious from the style of building. Parking was very tight. Overall, not a bad place to stay as was close to walking up and down Main Street which I enjoyed.

Room was on the street side, was pretty quiet. Charged $10 for a dog. Free internet was nice. Very old and needs updated badly.

Nice place

Posted Aug 11, 2015
The staff was great, pool is open all the time so the kids loved it. It's obviously older, but well maintained and comfortable. Rooms are huge. Bedroom, living room and 2 area bathroom. Juice and bagels every morning. I will stay there again if we ever go through Cortez.

Une aubaine? Pensez-y bien!

Room was pretty sad. Outdated in every way.

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: N/A
Cons: Everything!
Location: Mesa Verde National Park is the destination near by.
Staff was very cooperative and every level. The hotel is just terribly outdated and really needs a facelift in every way or bring in the Dozers and raze the whole place. Not set up very well and room was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it was evident at some point it was major smoking. For the price it should be significantly better.
