Good Quality Room

The room was a nice quality room and he staff was excellent. My only complaint was the channel selection wasn't much for kids to watch after 7pm. The TV was also place between bed a couch are so people on bed and people on couch cannot watch TV comfortably at the same time. Other than that the place was amazing. Pool was clean. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean also.

Nice place to stay

Central location. Glad we had a car, though. Very polite staff. Comfortable bed. Very spacious. Breakfast could have been better.

One night stop on road trip

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Denny's across street, Fred Meyer's down the road, fuel nearby.
Beautiful modern hotel, great rooms, nice and large, nice bed and great TV. WIFI worked very well, high speed. Breakfast was great. There is shopping nearby, Fred Meyers, etc. Easy to find right next to HI5, so easy in, easy out. In addition, Denny's right across the street so don't have to look for restaurant coming in after a long day's drive. They will deliver to your room. Price was excellent. Will make this a regular stop on road trips.

Phoenix Suites, Albany, OR

Location: Just off I-5 on east side of exit 32. Exit off ahead of overpass in both directions. If you miss the exit southbound, it's another 5 mi. to next e.
Suite clean and comfortable. Suite divided into sleep and work/entertainment sections. In-room microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee maker. Free in-room popcorn, coffee and condiments. If arriving late and front desk empty, contact clerk via phone number (countertop business cards). A couple of restaurants nearby or drive west across the I-5 overpass to most restaurants in Albany. Request maps at front desk.

Very nice hotel in Albany!

Pros: Spacious room, breakfast included, right by I-5.
Cons: The breakfast choices should be rotated every day; this would cater to guests staying more than a couple days. The AC unit.
Location: Right by I-5 and highway 20; easy access to freeway and restaurants, shopping.
Excellent location, all employees bent on service, very responsive. Room was huge, lots of living space, very clean. AC unit is very adequate, but it is of the type that shuts off the fan, which then is very disruptive when the unit kicks in again.

Handy location, comfortable room.

Location: Dennys restaurant is just across the road, making it handy for a quick dinner.
Located near I5 and hwy 20, yet rooms are quiet. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing negative to say.

Prepaid, "oversold by Expedia"

I prepaid on Expedia three weeks before my stay. I called two weeks before to verify the reservation is all good. I got a call from Phoenix Inn 24hrs before my arrival wanting to verify my stay (all is good), only to be told AT THE DESK that "Expedia oversold my room type". My two queen room had been changed to a single king with a sofa sleeper and a living room jacuzzi tub. Not cool, especially for two dudes staying together whom aren't related. The sofa sleeper mattress was blown out soft and the foot of the bed higher than the head, along with the cross bar positioned right across your shoulder blades. Sleeping on the sofa would have been the better choice. Since we were staying two nights, they did put us into a double queen (what I originally booked) on the second night - after I asked. This should have been automatically proposed by the clerk the first night. In the future I will not prepay on Expedia and will reserve another place as back up, call to confirm 24hrs ahead and then make the decision which to go with. Since Expedia makes me pick either yes or no if I would recommend this hotel to a friend - I picked yes but I didn't want to pick either!

It was clean and close to the freeway. We've stayed here before. The only complaint was our window wouldn't open and we like fresh air to sleep.
